TBH, your 69 Mustang is my favorite body style pony, only I prefer the Mach-1. The only thing I really have against Ford is the lack of interchangeable/reusable parts. The old cougar xr-7s are sexy too. My father's first car was a 67' Mustang. He turned it into a ten second car but lost it decades ago sadly. The men and women both wrenched on a lot of noisy, trans-ams and firebirds from the late 80s when I was growing up. Big trucks too.....I don't really have the same appreciation for noise control lol

I haven’t modified them. All of our Mustangs are pure stock except for a cat back on the Roush. But I kept the original one.
Years ago I had a ‘90 LX notch that I modified. Put a vortec s-trim, underdrives, GT40 heads & intake, E303 cam, x-pipe, little steeper gear, coil overs. All the usual stuff. Nothing special really. Just a nice consistent mid 12 second car on drag radials. That I could actually drive around town if I wanted to. Fox body stuff is really easy to find. You can still find used stuff for them on eBay and Craigslist.

/cheers

guess newer ones havent been driven enough to tell if the issue is still there

sedan is no gud 4 hoisting kayaks

lol. Nobody wants to listen to me ramble about why the early 90s BMW M3 is the perfect car or how the second gen Toyota MR2 can be fitted with the 6 cylinder from a fucking Camry and absolutely roast just about anything.

i do

I don't know what secret the 6-cyl Camry engine holds, but Lotus has been using them for years.

is it me
or is the challenger the new mustang
them shits r fkn everywhere
It never used to be that way. When hellcats came out in 2015, everyone wanted a challenger. Plus, challengers just look better than mustangs and Camaros in my opinion.
