party sync in 111-119

i dont have a geared 120 to try it out.

I was under the impression from reading some posts that party synced high levels in BGs are essentially templated and their gear doesn't affect their stats. Maybe just true for low level BGs.

if you want to be OP in this bracket I would cash in soon, according to that thread the template is insanely messed up in favor of the 120s.

Edit: I can tell you from fighting in the bracket now that yes 120s definitely have a leg up consistently doing high dmg and they seem to have around or more health than a BiS 119 twink so it is very broken.

Been in a 111-119 BG tonight on my 119, had a 120 in doing by far more damaged, checked his armory and he was only circa 370 ilvl. Also my damage meter recorded his azerite items on the scale (azerite globules, undulating tides). Yet when I join a BG with my 120 in party sync it says azerite powers are disabled. Anyone know what is the deal with the party sync work is working / should be working / what is bugged?

I think I have an idea of what is happening, I would still have to test it, but I am definitely not gonna say it openly cause I am pretty darn sure it is why.

playing against 120's feels like playing against a 300 ilvlish twink. still fun, however anyone with 333 gear or 310 gear will roll them put 2-3 on the opposing team and just you, it's a very fun time.
