A later Vanilla patch changed Dungeon itemization so maybe that's what you remember? Also, that's planned for Phase 5 iirc.

Not its not they were 32 even in BC until that 2.3 or whatever patch that nerfed the dungeons

That patch wont change around with lvls of drops, it just adds tier 0.5 and adds more relics to the loot table. Its not a gnomer revamp patch. The level changes and more blues less greens in dungeons etc all happens in BC/Wotlk.

The patch notes doesn't say which dungs or by how many levels, this link below shows all the level squishes (this patch was when SF, PoD, Hotshot's and many other dung items became ultra-rare (dropping from only the highest lvl mobs, usually bosses))
