Was doing my dailies in Mechagon after obtaining https://www.wowhead.com/item=168804/powered-piscine-procurement-pole After looking into it more the item itself does not have a scale by level filter on Wowhead, If this is obtainable on a level 19 Would it be BiS for a Feral Druid assuming they still benefit from Fishing poles and the ridiculous Damage?

I understand the effort involved for a level 19 to get to Mechagon involving being summon by a warlock and two other people, but one summoned is all you would need *Kill>Logout>Weekly Reset>Go Again.

tl;dr: enchants are too good now so even if this gave good dmg you'd miss out on vital weapon enchants

likely not. afaik the only reason fishing rods were ever used by ferals was in legion was because of the ilvl and the fact that they could use their abilities regardless of what weapon they were using. (also enchants didn't work and the haste from black magic was minuscule enough that you could use a fishing rod and go without the haste.)

the only example where this actually happened in a bracket I can think of was lvl 69 ferals using https://www.wowhead.com/item=44050/mastercraft-kaluak-fishing-pole

that being said, we've also found recently thanks to the findings of @Bull that the +3 damage to weapon enchant is actually insane for feral druids, which if you used a fishing pole you'd be missing out on. (You'd also miss out on other enchants like elemental force, dancing steel, landslide, lifestealing, the list goes on.)
[doublepost=1571251788,1571251676][/doublepost]that being said, have you been able to confirm whether or not this rod is obtainable on low levels? this would be new bis fishing rod by far.

Am confused. Is the lack of abilities while using a fishing pole the issue or the missed haste?

I don’t run feral but is haste that important?

Does this still work in current retail patch?

well in Legion it didn't matter because you were templated and your stats were based off of your ilvl.
afaik fishing rods were never used in open world. afaik feral abilities also don't depend on any weapon types so you should be able to play with all your abilities regardless.

yes this is a new finding. we did some testing over the last few days with the enchant and other specs too, only seems to work substantially on feral.
Will Test later tonight
please do I'd love to know

After 26 daily resets I was able to acquire this and equip it, when I qued a BG then joined that BG the item became red and the weapon durability went from 0/65, I repaired the item and tried again but ran into the same issue during my next Que.

This is probably the result of a blizzard hot-fixed, in a way like the Engineer tinkers for those that did not spend the time to learn northern engineering.

*The weapon durability when joining a Battleground became instantly red(Broken) when the gates opened.
Would not farm this, unless you plan to use it for dueling purposes.

If you want to farm this I found the easiest method was using BNet1 & Bnet2 having a 120 with https://www.wowhead.com/spell=293394/hundred-fathom-lure in bags to summon on the daily, while you can solo Deepwater Maw on your 120, make sure you don't already have a kill on your 120 for the day or your twink will not benefit from personal loot.

To Summarize; Stats remain the same with no scaling, Weapon becomes Red Durability(Broken) when queing into BG's, Only Worth for out of instanced pvp, and the item can't be enchanted.

@DoubleDownRed outside of instanced pvp, how was the damage?

Know you said stats didn’t change but did ability damage tooltips or actual damage change?
Ilvl, weapon damage, and weapon speed all the same. will upload a photo., if you were asking about auto attacks and Crits, 70-140 autos, 170-240 auto swing Crits with agility set.
