I'm just hoping we don't see a Tiannamen Square #2. Blizzard were right to punish the abuse of their tournament and official stream. The manner of punishment was disproportionate, and indeed they have dialled it back now after the negative PR. The kid broke the rules of the contract he signed, but I think we can all see why. Blizzard has presented their true ideology; despite a statue outside their headquarters saying something along the lines of "All voices equal", they have shown they support anything but. Blizzard have held the middle finger to free speech and real-life heroes of democracy.
