EU+US BG Rare Buff Changes the Meta (Discussion?)

all of my adaptable gear is green :(

if you manage to get rare adaptable boots, adaptable legs, and adaptable chest thats a staggering 30 vers.

I'm like 95% sure that means breaking the fang/slither set.
Although this is true (and your other post, just didn't wanna quote it), Tence is very haste > all for paladins. So I would make the assumption that he may agree with you and play around with more of the pure haste or aurora pieces as opposed to full on vers items. To each their own, I don't find hard stacking haste as important as it was in wod, but who knows. As for shamans/druids/monks though, I would say that you're right on bg crate gear probably being new bis.

Also as a side note, I think it's good to mention that rings/bracers now have a difference between the rare and uncommon qualities (they gave the same amount of stats before).

Green rings are still at 5 total secondary stats, meaning they are no longer equivalent to blues.
I should have mentioned that bracers are included, but ye you're right

its gonna hurt to say goodbye to all of my single stat green rings...

The blue rings also have 1 more stam and 1 more int/str/agi too

Foreman leggings

Adaptable Leggs

8 Agility 11/2,3 Versatility = 12,7 agility

12,7 Agility 13 Stamina

Feet of Lynx

9 Agility 9 Stam

Adaptable boots

6 Agility 8/2,3 vers = 8,4 Agility

8,4 Agility 9 Stam

I think this also pushes Foamspittle further below mainhand + Offhand options...

Previously you'd have to get 2 x Epic Procs for wep and offhand to even slightly budge/match that staff. Now it's RNG farm-able

This is kinda incorrect, I say that int and haste are > all for holy. I still believe that slither will be king given that you lose out on so much more of your secondary stats to for versatility to make up for the loss in int bonus from the pieces.

you'd really be gaining 70 hp, 20 vers (30 minus the 10 from the vers that's given on the chest and legs) and prob 5% armor switching to adaptable pieces, and lose 11 int 18 haste rating.

looking at the set I have on, with slither I heal for 444, with full adaptable gear in the chest, legs, and boots, I heal for 441 (this is outside of bgs too where the secondary scaling is different).

so going by those numbers im losing 3 on all my heals, 18 haste rating, and just gaining a small amount of tankability and hp. To me slither is still king.

Well, for someone who was never able to obtain the TF Bow (I did get WF), nor any Legion Polearm. Plus I had done all the quests, I was staring down the barrel of being Blue4Lyfe..........
Now, 8.2.5 has re-invigorated the Hawk......

I'm looking forward to filling some Horde with lead in the Basin :p

Also, I was able to get an old BG Blue weapon on my Prot Warrior. It's got a gf'd Cata mog

Who's ready to get clobbered in the Gulch ;)
I think it's a great outcome. If they can lift the ilvl of the Holiday purples, I'd be an even happy man :)

ya man at first I was skeptical of this whole update because of the party sync stuff but its a ton of fun (the bgs are too)

everythings been comin up 20s in BFA. here's to an even better future(?)

Well thats nice. Alot of ilvl 28 blues just lost their value.
true, the only two that were useful before that I can think of is lynx and darkweave tho

thorbs, magefist, kellers, etc I think will stay king (unless they scale up dungeon gear at some point too, then we might see the end of 28s lmao)

Band of Puri or Queens Jewel and Starsight Tunic (unless you had epic Soothsayer) were bis for FCing.
