Will this be "trade-glitchable"?

Scopes appear to be the only enchants with a level requirement attached to them. I am curious as to whether or not this could potentially be glitched onto a BOE gun/bow? Obviously BOPs wont have their blue text, and this enchant may or may not be worth it (depending on the bow. of course).

What do you guys think?

If by glitch you mean that normally this enchant will bind a BOE to you if you enchant it, and to glitch it would be to avoid that?

I am suggesting the possibility of this scope being glitched onto a non-engineer, non-level 40 characters bow, the same way enchants can be glitched on retail WOW.

Does it even need to be glitched?

It says "requires level 40"

Not sure. There is also a rare level 50 gun enchant that gives 3% hit chance I am curious about

@Petrolsk have you heard of the retail glitch? I think Jwl is asking if it can be done the same way, have a level 40 put it on a bow for you and do the switcheroo quick enough to where it’s traded before it’s bound, but still equipped.

I don't think you actually need to glitch it. Hard possibilty I'm not remembering this correctly, but I'm like 80% stuff like that binding things on use wasn't a thing till tbc?
Yeah I'm almost certain that's correct. Tbc was the dawn of the mailing enchant glitch, nethercobra/cleft is what I can remember off the top of my head.

I know for sure you can apply a lot of amazing enchants to gear that exceeds the power level of the gear it's on. Some enchants have odd requirements like can only be applied by the enchanter to their gear, like the Zandalar enchants. Other enchants like the Scourge chants can be applied to a piece of BOE gear or tradeable not BOP piece of gear. The scopes are no exception as far as I'm aware. Librams can be applied in the trade window I believe. This is why Classic is so amazing.

To my knowledge, exploiting enchants through the trade window wasnt a thing until TBC. Just pretty confused by these scopes and their level requirement. Thanks for all the responses boys

If it helps, a Heavy Armor Kit requires Character Level 20 to apply and can BE applied by a 20+ through the Trade window to a Level 1 with Grey/White gear. Does that mean the same can happen with Scopes, I don't have that answer yet.

What's the trade exploit glitch? or is it one of those open secrets noone wants to talk about because it'll get fixed.

The only way to get BoP enchants on gear that I was aware of during BC/Wrath sounds like a different exploit. Bind > break > mail. Haven't got around to testing it yet.

exploiting latency in-game to bind items to players that otherwise, couldn't obtain them.
I'll make a video demonstrating how its down for $100
