Your Classic adventures!

I quit playing my solo paladin. The videos weren't really getting traction, and WoW became more of a chore than a game and I found myself looking for ways to avoid playing, even if it meant doing stuff like cleaning the house, than looking forward to it. I rerolled on Golemagg Horde to play with friends. Call it a stupid reason or not, but I saw one of Asmongold's highlights where he was doing Molten Core with other people, and I thought "damn, if I stick to my solo play I will never experience this". I also wanted to PvP!

So I've decided to go horde warlock, and I'm having a great time so far. Warlock is speed compared to paladin. I can easily tag 3-4 mobs (at least at my lowish level) and wanding them down feels like I'm shooting a machine gun. Like I'm doing more DPS shooting wand than my paladin autoattacking with 2h, but I also have dots, pet etc.

Sadly, Ariadna was taken so I went for my secondary name, Torikago. If you see me somewhere on Golemagg EU, /wave! Or if you're a filthy alliance (jk I love ally shame my friends play horde T_T) then prepare for battle!

Respecced to balance on my 44 druid did a couple dungeons seems like I am onpar with everything might keep playing balance until it gets bad.

Classic seems to be made for group activity. More community orientated.
People are more reliant on one and another, and hence people are more helpful.
I’m enjoying the community aspect of Classic.
Though it can be quite painful if u venture too deep into enemy territory. It can become a cruel place.........

I gotta say, Crystal, I'm glad you gave up the idea of only solo playing that paladin. It's a support class. It doesn't DO solo. At least not until level 32 when you can Respec into a reckoning build.

I got to level 42. Reck /sit doesn’t work in Classic.

59lvl twinking can be a better chooice for you Crystal. You have to plan everything not to ding 60. Ironman paladin was a big challence but boring to be honest.

This isnt a stupid reason at all. Vanilla dungeons (I never got the see raids but I'd assume so) were intriguing and fun and really felt like adventures. Missing out on that is, quite honestly, missing out on the game entirely. The whole point was group play.

And thats kinda what Im starting to rediscover as I put a little more time into the game and get past the initial leveling zones. Im only 22 at this point (Classic is a side project to my side projects) but the most fun I've had is ending up in random groups and doing elite quests and such. The game really is a chore if you try to rambo it.

I'm close to getting 40 on my Warlock, and the experience is enjoyable, especially AoEing in dungeons. What is a little less enjoyable is people ganking in groups of 3 or 4, or waiting until I'm just a couple % hp after a series of mobs to attack... I don't get it.

On another note, I started a new small shirt selling business on my alt, found out the name Givenchy was free, and I'm now making shirts with the tag for premium price.

Sadly, all the more well known names like Gucci, Prada or Louisvuitton were already taken and people don't seem to reckognize Givenchy, but I still have hope :)

If you're on Golemagg EU and would like everyone inspecting you to go mad jealous, let me know! I'll give you a bit of a discount :)

Edit: Already got 2 COD orders, will report if they go through successfully :)

Sold 10 shirts so far, for 10 gold each, so that's 100g with minimal material cost and a little bit of marketing. I'd say between whispers to level 50-60 and AH it's 50:50. Here's some of my proudest sales pitches so far:

Also, a 60 warrior advertised boosts in SM Cath, and I can't say it enough: these are amazing. Same xp/h as I was getting with spellcleave pugs, and absolutely no work. 3 gold per run price and he keeps all loot, but I made like 2g back from monster cash drops being shared, so it's pretty neato. Give it a try if someone advertises on your server

3 gold per run
Soloing Maraudon for gold creates much more than this amount as i remember Crystal. They don't make full clear but snipe some bosses for vendoring blues. I've seen a video about it at youtube when i was playing on Nostalrius. (Hunter only as i remember)

Selling dungeon runs for twinks will be so profitable when i reach enough level. Alliance players have trouble when finding groups for SFK, Wailing Caverns same for horde's Deadmines...

2h arms warrior tanked uldaman twice (literally without any Prot abilities trained), repair bills were 75 silver each (oof) but 0 wipes cuz the healer was in the ball
Got some gud gear too

Actually, was kinda tricked into tanking cuz the leader said they need a dps :p

solo mara is best done by lock followed by hunter and then spriest

nets you anywhere from 30-50g per hour depending on professions

Had my first run-in with some twinks! I'm leveling slow, so only 30 right now on Whitemane. Ran into about 4 29 ally twinks roaming around Hillsbrad Fields. Was kinda fun trying to hide from them for a bit, but then got bored, then someone brought in 60s, and the whole thing turned into a mess, lol.
