Are ZG and NAXX40 enchants still a thing?

Since you have been getting some mixed results here OP:

You have two options if you want to try to use these.

1. Use them yourself (on a BoA). It scales with your toons level, and will likely be BiS for many brackets. You can safely send it around your account, and will have it forever.

2. Try to sell it with the trade glitch method. Your best bet here IMO is paying someone that is known for their high level of success, and letting them use your account (if you are okay with this). An item like this (on US servers) is worth millions of gold/hundreds of dollars. For someone who does this frequently, I’m sure they would love the opportunity to use an item with this level of rarity, and for the people on this forum who sell their services- proven success with these enchants only helps their business. You could obviously also try to learn the method yourself, and hope to succeed in enchanting someone’s item. The problem, though, is that buyers who will pay a considerable amount only want to pay you if it’s a success. So it’s sort of a gamble here.


Is it possible that these enchants get patched and become worthless? Yes. Certainly. I personally have the AP ZG enchant, and the AP it provides has changed many times since I applied it. At one point, it was significantly BiS (because it didn’t scale down to level 19), while now it is only marginally better than obtainable enchants.

The price is approximately 150-200$ per enchants.

Then I would highly recommend finding one of the few videos out there describing how the trade glitch works. Then buy a metric shit ton of worthless legs and shoulders off the AH and a bunch of standard, easy enchants. And then just practice with a friend till you're comfortable enough to do it yourself.

As @Chops and other have stated: If you're going to try and retain those enchants for your own character, a long learning process would be a worthwhile investment.

I would watch that progress bar like a hawk while trying out the throw-away enchants. Try to anticipate the completion or each application. For example: Over the many years playing WoW, mounting up has become one of the most stand-out actions my characters take (probably because I usually have to do it in a small window between active combat periods, and then wait 2 seconds in existential angst). Watching the mount-up animation so many times, I began having a little mini-game for myself in 1,000,000 times that I do use my mount hotkey. I try to start moving a split second before the progress bar for casting my mount summon is complete, as a result I get the failed progress bar as if it was interrupted, yet the mount is summoned and I am now running 60% faster.

I have never done any item glitching, but I imagine the process is similar to my Fruitless Mount Cancel mini-game I have been playing.
