COME HOME TO THE ETHNOSTATE WHITEMAN(E). IT'S THE LAST THING (((THEY))) WOULD EXPECT

Ok, thought so... that's why this made no sense to me:
poll mainly 2 gauge server population
4 the purpose of sustained bg pops down the road

Population per server is irrelevant, unless you want to interact outside BG. Pops will always be sustained cross realm.

literally this lmao

im surprised nobody has made a poll already to figure out whos going which faction seeing as server choice at this point is more or less irrelevant because a) basically everyone has ended up on herod b) x realm is going to be a thing so who gives a fuck where you play on as long as u can fund yourself

Just that you offer up misinformation and instead of correcting it you just try to clown it off. It's not like you can just reroll these in a few hours, there's a pretty hefty investment for this. If you just care about BG then server is irrelevant, you'll get access to everyone else from any server you choose and wont be affecting the "pops down the road" if you just set up elsewhere from the crowd. Herod looks like it could be abysmal for a long time. If that's not your thing then options are a good thing.

And yes, there's a plethora of reasons to join the popular choice ----> but BG pops in the future isn't one of them.

In the interest of "informed decision-making", it's probably worth clarifying that the cross-realm BGs won't give you combatants from literally any server... I believe that they're still limited to the pool of servers hosted at each individual datacenter (which for Classic-US appears to correspond with the time-zone). ;)

Awesome! Thank you for that info! So, to be safe, if you want to queue against Herod but not be ON Herod one would choose another EST realm for US? Is that as accurate as we can be at this time? Sounds reasonable.

That's actually really important information... thank you for all your work to help with the server updates too, BTW. :)

With expected queues of 10,000 players at launch... I'm wondering what impact the 33 that voted herod will have. o_O
i'm no prophet my man. but i will say i do forsee alot of twinks who have no idea this site exists in our immediate future

Absolutely. I believe that will be the filler for lack of levelers... do we really expect random levelers to hop into PvP just like they did in classic? Without the XP? Im thinking there will be a lot more twink v twink battles, a good thing.

And grouping will still be server-only, yes? So for that it's a more consequential decision...

edit- saying that in classic no one knew wtf was going on. Now there's more information so randoms in PvP seem less likely.
