A question for vanilla veteran warriors

I want to play something totally unique and try to make it work when classic releases. I have an idea of a warrior build around 2 handed mace and 1 handed mace+shield depends on too many stuns-disarms-silences. Support like gameplay...

Talent tree:
https://classic.wowhead.com/talent-calc/warrior/05305000352005--052511030030012

Stuns:
-Mace spec. from arms gives chance to stun (https://classic.wowhead.com/item=11684/ironfoe would be great with double swing procs when with shield)

-Unique maces which has stun chance proc. (MC one has aoe stun proc:
https://classic.wowhead.com/item=17073/earthshaker, https://classic.wowhead.com/item=19323/the-unstoppable-force etc..)

-Revenge talent procs. (I can use them with 2 handers too in def. stance or 1handers+shield)

-Concussion Blow 45 sec. cd and another 5 sec. stun

And,
-3 secs. silence from imp. shield bash (100 percent chance)
-improved disarm for longer disarms
-and survival talents to be in fights longer

-Are Shield spec. and imp. shield block better than defence skill and armor?
-Are putting so many talents to reach impale useless? Should i change them?
-Staying defensive stance with 2handers for revenge procs. may cause heavy rage problems. I have no idea about it.
-Managing diminishing returns another problem...
What do you think? Is this totally stupid or Can this be fun to play?

Thanks for answers...

looks like too much micromanagement for little reward, those are good talents but you sacrifice too much

just have a shield setup against rogues or when being 2v1'd by melee and otherwise rock a 2hander 24/7 with the usual 31/20

so far you have 13 yd melee leeway mechanic(ouch) so...

tactical mastery is a must or you'll stay rage starved when you switch stances

mortal strike is too much to pass up

those other abilities that help you get by like improved overpower, sweeping strikes, sword spec, improved hamstring are much better than a single target stun(thats not to minimalize the importance of stuns)

iron will and last stand are pretty good and i think you can use something like 31/xx/13 but then you miss out on piercing howl and enrage and blood craze(which is decent with like t3 gear and a shield for surviving stunlocks)

if you are really deadset on wanting to use the mace spec and that prot tree idk prolly go something like fury/prot hybrid

those gimmicky weapons are ...gimmicky(im unsure about things like The Shatterer/Serenity because on wowhead it says the disarm/dispel proc chances are insane and on pservers it was insane so i guess you could use them in your mace spec thing)

I guess you could increase their proc chance with flurry or something(like a ghetto windfury)

The problem with all that crap is that its really hard to beat numbers ...like say when your opponent simply has the biggest numbers 2hander constantly swinging at you and you have to perform like 4 different steps just to stun him

imho this is a typical case of blizzard mongoloids where they pigeonhole you into one spec with no other choice. sure you got lots of different talents but you cant really take advantage of them or they're somewhat useless

gg blizzoids
[doublepost=1562519490,1562517850][/doublepost]and btw in the chaos of battlegrounds 10v10 or 15v15 with 10+ casters running around you are gonna have problems with that spec but umm

get flurry and imp slam. Ride up to someone with ~100 rage, Concussive blow, spam slam until dead. hehe xd

Almost have to go with the cookies cutter builds. At least our warriors nearly always did. Sure, they would respecc for a few specific things encounters (talking PvE) but for most part they staying the same. Experimenting is fun but it can get expensive quick. I wouldn’t suggest it until after your mount.

@Allybeboba A warrior with good 2handed sword, mortal strike and pocket healers...Same thing for years. I will play something different this time. Maybe a class which i've not play once. I've some experience about making gold from piravate servers so respec. costs won't hurt too much.

@inoobupro I've noted very nice points. Thank you, this was very detailed answer.

Aye, I’d like to consider myself an expert on gold making in WoW. Not that is any special feat or anything. It just takes a bit of knowledge of how economics work, a little bit of knowledge of how use add ons and some knowledge of the game mechanics.
Each and every server is it’s own macroeconomy my friend. What works on one may or may not be viable on another. Even more so when comparing private to retail servers.
Surely, we will be able to apply some of our early gold making ‘techniques’ in Classic but not all of them.
