EU+US F2P picture thread

Ah I remember the craze whenever Ahune became first available, we would run the mobs over and over hoping to get the piece with a red socket. Imagine if it scaled to 20, a F2P with gems inside gear? Crayyyyzy!

The gems you can buy from the Accessories Quartermaster still seem to be 6 int or 5 int + 5 crit so that gem slot woulda been insane lol

I got the cloth trousers last night from the same mob. They did not scale down to me sadly. Felt bad 'cos I couldn't trade them to the mage in my group who was the right lvl for them - then did another Ahune with her and they dropped for her x)

Claiming High Mountain Peak for 'No Prisoners'!

So I just happened to be in the area...

Hey! Who took down my No Prisoners banner!
Oh sorry, that was me...

Those mountain peaks just get so darn "chilly"... and back in the Blood Knight academy, we were taught that Alliance banners always make the best "kindling". ;)

Now, I've been "Honoring" a great number of "Flames" over the past few days... and the more that I've gazed into those smoldering embers, the more that it's reminded me of my role in the fate of icehawk's banner.

Suddenly I find myself wondering... is it possible that he somehow "deserved better"? He may be filthy Alliance scum, but surely he's nowhere near as bad as the other Night Elves that I've encountered over the years... right?

So... unable to reconcile my honor with my doubts, I eventually concluded that I had no choice but to make the pilgrimage back up Highmountain Peak (with my own "source of warmth" this time) and reconstruct icehawk's kindling banner on his behalf.

Now, I must confess that Alliance banners all kinda' look the same to me... but after considerable effort, I'm pretty sure that I was able to capture the original's "gravitas".

...and to all my other "kindred spirits", out there exploring the remote corners of Azeroth on F2Ps:

I was minding my own business at Nozzlepot's Outpost when a goblin named Skippy Hophappy came along and very politely asked the Stable Master (Vernon Soursprye) for her pet Mr Oinky, please...

It's been some time i've not completed an achievement that has the "right" to be shared with you :p

And today, after dozens of unsuccessful tries spread on multiple months, I got some help from a GM for the achievement Zarhym Altogether. For those who didn't struggle on it, it's an achievement from the Timeless Isle where you have to dodge ghosts to get to a corpse. But it's bugged and the last ghost doesn't move so no way to finish it naturally (except some exception who can "jump" over the ghost).

My GM simply removed the ghost for me ^^ I know that it's cheating, but it's the only way I found to finish it :)
Another achiev that I can remove from my list  leading my total achivement points to 4875 ... the 5k are near :p

Just use your pet to distract.... Oh yeah.... Hey Congrats!

Just in case anyone here is unfortunate-enough to have never been exposed to the greatest "Stoner Comic" of a generation... you should know that calling this Zarhym Altogether is a reference to one of Mitch Hedberg's most-iconic punchlines:

[TR1][TD] You know how they call it "corn on the cob", right? But that's how
it comes out of the ground, man. They should just call that "corn",
and they should call every other version "corn OFF the cob".
It's not like if you cut-off my arm you would call my arm "Mitch",
but then reattach it and call me "Mitch Altogether".

Yeah ... my rogue pet :D
(SHHH! Don't tell anyone about the stealthed Rogue pets! People really think you're doing all that DPS by yourself!)

Not really as active for the past year(s), but I came back and finished Stonetalon, basically free 10 pts. I got exactly 1 blue upgrade and 0 epics, kind of a killjoy but RNG is RNG. I also have a couple more questions:

1. I see we can que IoC now. Does it or AV pop at all? I'm in que all day and it seems it doesn't.
2. Can we enter Legion areas? What's the way to do so, mage portal or lock summ?
3. Are there any "new" quest areas for alliance apart from Stonetalon?

edit: the last quest in Stonetalon, flying around on these rockets - amazing fun. Shame you can't keep the item just to fly around in that quest area.

Edit2: question 4; is it safe to turn in DMF fishing and cooking monthly quests or will they reset my cooking/fishing if I have it GFd? Same question for fish/cook dailies

1. Nope. Outside of organizing a day/time nobody is going to que epic BGs.

2. Yes. Summons and ports work. Outside of that, there's a neat trick that involves dying outside of lights hope chapel, rezzing in the pally class hall underneath and clicking the dalaran Port before the guards kill you. The legion zones are gorgeous, surprisingly easy to navigate on f2p and fun to run around in. Have fun on highmountain

3. Um, all of duskwoods quests instead of just half. And... I don't remember. I think that's it.

4. You may be the only person left who can check
