Had people in Cata that wouldn’t even let me play with them on my Trial account because it was link to my main.

Whether you want to admit it or not, while veterans play the game for free, they aren't considered F2P users.

what does f2p mean?
 
I have no interest in any aspects of F2P. This is nothing more than a blizziod attempt to stimulate marketing and/or maintain customer interest. I also do not appreciate the, "freeloader aspects" of F2P. For me, BfA was a complete disappointment. The blizziod leadership and direction lacks direction, motivation, and interest. For me, PVE play is a complete bore. My only interest in WoW is PVP play at the low level and blizz did a complete, "shit show" (as usual) job in setting talents and power. Don't know how much longer I will continue w/ WoW. I'm hoping Classic WoW will be worth the effort.
