In this thread I made Light tries to justify both veterans and pure f2ps being termed as "f2ps".

I make a remark saying they aren't, it's pretty obvious they aren't real f2ps.

Then out of thin air Chops appears and links a comment I made a month ago about playing a 29.

After that everyone comes in giving me bad clout for whatever reason.

Most if not all people in this thread giving me bad clout have nowhere near the amount of playtime or honorable kills on f2p 20s that I do, in fact I bet half of them didn't even start playing until wod or legion.

Can we all just look past small ass details, and actually recognize shit for what it is?

You've said incredibly stupid things in the past, openly exploited, and generally come off as an attention seeking preteen. Unfortunately because of this your opinions don't really carry or hold any weight anymore.

Technically a vet and a ftp are both FREE TO PLAY since you can play them for free forever. I'd imagine light was under that mindset as well.
 
I quit exploiting as soon as blizzard said something about it, a real f2p has no glitched eng belts or boe leg enchants idk who tf thinks this lmfao.

So by that logic I could just slap on a set without any enchants or engineering stuff and be considered a f2p?
 
Ya the starter edition and veteran edition are kind of the same. Only difference is one gave blizzard money to get stuff the other doesn’t.

Sometimes some people have a bit of a grudge over others depending on what was said prior. Comes with most pvpers sadly.

Besides that the moderator is right, there are some people that are still pure ftp on here. You’ve just gotten contact with the more of the aggressive players rather the passive ones.

And while we are at it ... in terms of definition ... i do not consider pure-f2p and vet as "f2p" because putting them in the same category is just trying to blur the huge gap between those two types of players / gameplay ....

Imo, "f2p" refers to "pure-f2p" and those who haven't once payed to play. While "vet" refers to ... "vet" ^^
Those two categories playing on a "trial account".

Because we hear too often complains about "f2p players", mixing both "f2p" and "vet" in the same category ...

I'm confused though, if I have my character using everything a f2p has access to why can't I be a f2p too? im not using enchants or leg armor or even any professions past 100!
 
i think the point you're missing is that no one would really give a shit about what you did if you weren't super anti-exploit 2 weeks ago. if you wanna exploit and play 29s, cool i guess, if you also wanna f2p/vet when you're not exploiting, also cool, not really anyone's business unless they're paying your sub.

but let's just say in the off chance you aren't trolling and actually find people constantly bringing it up annoying (regardless of it being relevant, which in the case of the thread you just linked i really don't think it is), you really brought it upon yourself.. im not even trying to throw shade man, but if you honestly look at it, in the end we're all responsible for painting ourselves in the light we're reflected in

also a side note, just because you aren't playing an OP class doesn't mean you still aren't trying to get the highest power advantage possible, regardless of playing an already weak specialization or not. no one would care if you do it, BUT constantly trying to masquerade it as some weird justification... that ain't it chief.

the principle is still there, so i think trying to take the moral high ground on "but im not OP" is kinda a load of shit.

I am not a one dimensional person I am likely to adapt and change views over time.

If you really think I played a 29 fire mage to 2 shot f2ps you are sadly mistaken, I played it to not do 90 dps.

lol whats wrong with exploiting? people argue it's because they're bad at the game, when in reality it turns out they're just smart, and know how to find their own shit. maybe you're confusing the term leech, which subsequently defines copying someone elses work for your own profit. generally if you're able to find your own shit then you're much smarter than a lot of people who play WoW already. then again, the exploits you guys partake in aren't even remotely close to bad in the slightest.

it's okay @Neon exploiting is cool. fuck the people who aren't smart enough to take advantage of a poorly designed game :eek:

This is basically what I was going to say, in it's entirety.

I do not personally consider vets F2P, as they are not purely a free to play account. They go on and off of subscriptions, and have acquired items that you cannot get for free.

However, many consider it such simply because while they play twinks on said accounts, there is not currently a subscription.

It's a bit nitpicky, sure. But the main reason behind separate terms and sub forums is that they have their own communities (even if the intermingle), and that they both have different gear available to them that is BIS.

Also, many things that are achievement based are easy to do with a vet but not F2P.
