It doesn't matter whether it's a known or unknown artist.

Jesus christ... just look up 80s/90s hip hop and you're good. I'd rather go deaf than listen to a good portion of your list

Big L
Mobb deep
Scarface
Geto boys
2pac
Biggie
Big pun
Method man
Redman
Wutang
Tribe called quest
Rakim
Fat Joe
Big pun
Nas
Gang starr
Bone thugs

List goes on. Might update as the day goes on but honestly anything 80s/90s

Felly (only mentioning bc I grew up 500 feet from him and went to elementary/middle/high school w him)

I listen to some of those artists as well, but I will be looking into the ones which I haven't listened to. (Didn't want to include more on the list and make it 729 xpoff pages long)

Ab-Soul.

Member of TDE, Incredible word play and by far my favorite rapper.

I recommend listening to World Wide Web by him. The song itself is rapped from the perspective of the WWW. To rap as an inanimate object / from the persepctive of it just blows my mind. My number 1 recommendation if anyone is looking fot a new artist.

@OP
try out
Flatbush Zombies, Earthgang, Tribe Called Quest, Young Thug, Curren$y, Lil Wayne, Anderson .Paak.

If you like Wiz Khalifa, Curren$y is a great match- he basically got Wizzy on the smoking track which brought him his fame. Young Thug is super hot- anything from "Take Care" to "Old English" will be nice. Anderson .Paak is a little lighter but still has meaningful lyrics and artistic style. Flatbush Zombies is just hard as fuck.

Don't sleep on Divine council. $ilkmoney's a beast.

Jgrxxn's new shit goes hard.

Anonymuz murders every industry cat.

Vel would murder any type of Cardi B or Nikki Minaj.

I also noticed nobody mentioned Shakewell, Pouya, Fat Nick, Ghostemane, Ramirez, Bones, Wynne and only XXXtentacion's sideckick was mentioned. Joey Badass is good too.
