Terrible, actually. Handing people $1000 a month doesn't do anything to actually disuade the type of corrupted power dynamics that cause gross inequality in the first place.
A UBI can be a powerful tool forq redistributive policy but implemented thoughtlessly (or in Yangs case, maliciously) it's a great way to justify disempowering labor to the point of serfdom.

The wiser move is to quote pollution numbers rather than renewable energy production. The size and population of America means it's gonna be number one in alot of areas in terms of total output.
Our military alone is the worlds number one polluter. Not because it's any dirtier than any other industry but it's just... huge in scope.
Which is why I don't really truck in totals devoid of context. Give me percentages. What percent of America's energy is renewable? Whats our ratio of pollution to GDP, compared to other developed countries?
(Admittedly, all of this is rather off topic but meh)

It's not that so much as wanting to point out that you'll willingly push aside our military contribution to pollution while willingly including it as part of our economic activity, because doing so fits your point.
I'm granting you the position that your metrics are important and challenging you on those points while wanting to acknowledge that I think the whole argument is moot. Economies are like dicks. Size doesn't matter if you can't satisfy people's needs.

The three headed beast that is GUNS/DRUGS/PRISON is a global industry. With USA being the best, of course we have higher numbers in all three categories. There's money to be made after all.
It's only natural to take pride in how well your country has fought wars. I believe we're undefeated atm.
This subject is a difficult one. On one hand, we have these people that come from an extremely corrupt country, get guns, train to fight drug cartels and actually go back and try to fight and save their country. That's about as admirable as it gets and commands as much respect possible. How could you want that type of individual to stay out of your country? On the other hand, we have rich white people that openly organize migrant caravans to our country and explicitly state that their intentions are to destabilize our country and cause chaos in order to destroy us from within. They know we know. They don't care. They know we'll separate families. They don't care. They come anyways. Why the fvck would you come to a place where they take your kids? What kind of shxt is that? Sure we're bad for doing it, but they're even worse for bringing their kids to a place where they take kids away. Why not leave your kids behind with a relative while you set up a home in the US? Did you get yourself into some trouble with some dangerous people perhaps? Well, bringing your kid to a place where they take kids away is probably not the solution a mentally stable individual would come up with for that dilemma.
The reason USA is the currently the best country is because we are the last bastion of free-speech while other countries become increasingly authoritarian. We are the best at fighting because we fought amongst each other for a few hundred years and learned new ways to kick ass from all types of cultures. We are the best because even our homeless people eat bacon cheeseburgers and enjoy a cold one from time to time.
