Where can I find BIS?

The armory page isnt a BIS armory page. Its just an armory page for references.
 
You're right JWL, however IIRC it states the the green check mark is BiS. Unless I'm mistaken


Edit. NVM just best geared. which some of the items are dated on most people as well.

IE: Neck on Disc BoA is way better.

The green check mark indicates that they are the best geared for that particular class/spec. It doesn't mean they are BIS.
I dont know of a single 59 that is 100% BIS.
 
I edited it. that I was wrong. lol. yea, I think with things upgrading and rolling higher its kind of hard to get a 100% bis.

Yes. Don't listen to anyone when they say they're 100% bis, as quite frankly, nobody is. There are just average geared twinks, and above average geared twinks. Not much inbetween.

Its really best used as a basic reference for the fundemental gear pieces that are unambiguously BIS outside that each profile of the same class/spec is like a snowflake ie none are the same...also a ton of them are pre blue/purple proc patch geared

Vecondios did pretty well. He got the borean tundra ring AND the vengeance of illidari trinket upgraded to epic ilvl 71. On top of that he's got all the dungeon-farmed epics, and the rest is ilvl 65 gear. Seems pretty BiS to me.

Having a few epic procs and dungeon-farmed epics doesn't qualify as "BIS".

Not to mention the fact proc & /use trinkets scale down in battlegrounds terribly.
