This is u.s only sorry eu

If we're talking about advertising then please head over to the 70-79 bracket for we are doing premades against premades doing the exploit into a lvler's bg.
Ask around in Horde or alliance community for an invite in that battletag group.
We were doing premades agasint premades about 2 months now but kept it lowkey since this exploit is frowned upon.
So only come to the 70-79 if you're ok with doing the exploit

Thank you for you're time :)

My bad phone auto spelled your into you're
Meant to say "thank you for your time"
Again sorry for my carelessness of not checking what word I typed out.
I will make sure to double check so this misunderstanding doesn't happen again. :)

We usually q up around 7-10pm pst timezone from what it looks like, always depends on when people log over.

Alright, I think you're underestimating the strength differential between levelers and decked out 20's. Plus, even if the difference is "minimal", I'm not sure it's fair to say that the 20's deserve the entertainment more than the levelers deserve entertainment in the 20-29 bracket, especially since it comes at the direct expense of them.

Regardless, let's say you're completely right. I believe this discussion is mostly centered around the 20-29 bracket, cause it's even harder to defend the 19s 39s 49s+ for there not being any competition, but perhaps gear matters less at the higher levels. So, I'm curious if you want to share (dunno if u have already) your thoughts on the 29s. I guess they're just unlucky and should wait until blizzard gives them something to do again? I'm not against it, but it must be dissapointing for them. Although, from what I've read and seen, dissapointment is the norm with blizzard in regards to twinks.

Yeah - the other brackets are just unlucky unfortunately. I used to play 60 and 89 but I can't anymore and it's tough shit. Blizzard did this before and I had to park my twinks until they reverted the change. Now I've had to do it again.

I don't even have a level 20 yet but from my own experience it's a great way to advertise and test out the game. I played my trial for about a year before I re-subbed. I knew practically nothing about the game after a break in BC all the way to cata yet the 20 community caught me up to speed. I fully decked out my level 20 frost mage and it was great fun.

Sure there were levellers that got shit on. But when has that not been the case in the 10-19 or 20-29 brackets in the history of wow?

MMO's have a legacy of ganking and stomping on others. Sure it can be disheartening for the victim but when it happened to me, first time exploring Azeroth, it only gave me a rush to get better, grind out levels, win epics & progress.
I fear that this is the part that MMO's (especially wow) are losing & one of the first things that got me so interested in the game.

This isn't really against ToS, its a clever use of game mechanics that give you an advantage over other players, its not like you insta win games here. Bliz can fix this in like a single line of code that checks if you have the xpoff buff in an xpon bg and kick you out. They know about this, and thats the one way to fix it.

No. What you've described is a way to mitigate the actual bug, but it will not actually fix it. What's happening is that what's called a "Race Condition" is being exploited. The race is between two different threads of operation. One thread is checking to make certain that you're still eligible for entry into the selected battle ground and the other thread is turning off your XP gain. Actually fixing the race condition is a non-trivial exercise that a very small percentage of programmers are actually capable of. But there are some purists out there that advocate against simple mitigation efforts and insist on actually fixing the underlying cause. The reason for that attitude varies, but is understandable. For instance going the mitigation route can sometimes result in dead/useless code sticking around long after the root problem is solved later. This results in frequent "Why is that code doing that?" type of questions rising in the future when code around the mitigation is being maintained. But I digress.

The only way to fix this would be to work on removing any delay factor in game, which would be a massive undertaking. And will never happen as its only this issue and some enchant issues that will be fixed. And again you can't get any kind of ban from using macros with only the wow api and no 3rd party programs. This gets around game mechanics but plenty of things do that and no one really cares.

I didnt know that only macros are abuse :) .

an abuse (= wrong use) of privilege/power/someone's kindness
Source: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/de/worterbuch/englisch/abuse
Using Vets/trials for long time serious playing is an abuse too. It has all of these characteristics (

Wrong use = because the intention is to try the game AND NOT TO FORM COMMUNITIES AND USE THE XPON QUEUE WITH BIS GEAR AGAINST NEWCOMER, Vets -> to see content changes/class changes AND NOT TO FORM COMMUNITIES AND USE THE XPON QUEUE WITH BIS GEAR AGAINST NEWCOMER) ,

privilege = using xp stopp farming BiS and stuff and later unsub with xpon to enjoy bgs "legit like no other bracket in wow",

power = BiS Geared with full enchants and buff food/pots ,

someone's kindness = Getting decent queues in a bracket full of trials and newcomer

And this isnt enough, youre abusing FOR FREE. Thats the best thing
If you still think youre not abusing and the number one clean players I wont comment it further :). I don't wanna be that salty but if ure (vets/trials) still think ure the only one legit bracket who doesnt abuse anything at all and point to others that theyre trash cheaters etc.. when they try to join bgs then u must be dumb or provocating. It is better to be silent than saying something to someone if ure not better. I'll leave it for now cba to let my salty behaviour out on the part in the bracket that is innocent.
Idk, the fact you wrote this essay to loosely argue your case in response to my very succinct and legitimate point sums it all up. You're clutching at straws mejt.

Hmu if it does get fixed

The macro clicks a button, you can do it without if your fast enough cry more
Why is the macro so widely used if it's unnecessary as you claim? Contradict more

I highly doubt they're gonna be throwing out bans for this particular exploit, but what you said is absolutely false. Somewhat recently a lot of people got banned for stacking an experience potion that wasn't supposed to stack. The exploit only required you to relog (no macro or 3rd party program).

I personally know two people who got banned for abusing an infinite gold exploit in molten core several years back. All you had to do was repeatedly right click a chest.

It seems only the severity of the exploit matters. Exactly how the exploit is done isn't as important.

Yea, so it wasn't a macro. I searched for a while and couldn't find anyone being banned even temporarily for using a macro, the wowwiki even has a line that says macros cant get you banned.

A normal macro wont get you banned, but executing a macro in a manner to gain an unfair advantage repeatable could get you banned. In actual fact you dont need to use a macro, you could click the popup but the result is the same. People are purposely bugging the queues, causing grievance to other players etc. Blizz wont be happy about that.

If they get banned the reason given won't be "this person used a macro" it will be for the reason I just listed above, the macro is not the issue its the result of the macro and how its precisely executed at bg pop.

And again you can't get any kind of ban from using macros with only the wow api and no 3rd party programs.

Gee, then I guess that no one would ever get a ban for simply splitting a stack of potions and then drinking each individual potion. After all, that means they didn't use any 3rd party programs, nor any macros, nor any addon using the wow api.

Usually when people are about to say something this dumb, they go anon first. Just an FYI.

If they ever were about to fix this, f2p/ vets would be one step closer to be in the xpoff bracket.

So for all you that hope this is getting fixed, are you sure you want this?
I mean there would be no more levelers and even more 29’s.
Haven’t been using this myself. So I don’t know how many 29’s there is in a normal bg now a days, but I can’t see that it is that bad for you.

why you hating
we in the same boat. 110 /20 gang
we come from the same cloth ya dig?

Sure, the next thing that may be patched is vet being put in the xpoff bracket .... and maybe a long time after that, if there are still problems reported by players, f2p may be put in that xpoff category too ...
And what? We live with what blibli let us do. If we are not happy, instead of complaining on that site, we have to protest on official forums ... and if it doesn't work, either accept it or quit the game ...
Anyway, all twinks are in the same boat ...
