Classic WOW PVP brackets

i posted along time ago on this forum about the original twink brackets in Van WOW. #9 twinks were not the original first twinks. i noticed this on the wow forum today

https://us.forums.blizzard.com/en/wow/t/old-school-twinks/183623

curious what blizzard is going to do on this, since the brackets were this way for for the patch blizzard is going with. along with no changes that some want?

No lowbie BGs until phase 3 from what I understand.
I mentioned this last week. Those of you all that are all hyped up thinking you are going to just jump in BGs are sadly mistaken.
If I remember correctly, back in Vanilla it was months before BGs rolled out for lowbies.
In the beginning lowbies will be good for world PvP since there won’t be any BGs. It will also be a great time to level your main and gear up your lowbie. It will a lot of effort and planning. A lot of planning.

Completely irrelevant to the thread topic. Great initiative!

Naw I was confused because 7.1.5 came before 7.2 so I wasn't sure if it was 1.12 or like 1.1.2. didn't click there were 12 or more vanilla patches because I started in BC

Here ya go. List of Vanilla patches and their primary “fixes”.
https://wowwiki.fandom.com/wiki/Patches/1.x

Classic will follow along these lines. It will be implemented in “phases”.
Honor system in phase 2
BGs in phase 3

An announcement has not been made on how long each phase will last/take to implement. It is a not a static number I would guess and more of a dynamic one. One that probably depends on the player base I would imagine.

Not sure if you're trolling, but 7 definitely comes before 12.
Classic on release will replicate 1.12 on everything but available content

I'm not sure if YOU'RE trolling but when it comes to patches, and just plain decimals for that matter, 1.7 is well after 1.12. Consider 1.7 as 1.70. So now the question becomes is 1.12 bigger or smaller than 1.70? Basic math fellas

That just happened.

It's understandable the confusion on version numbering.

To simplify programmers usually but not always do the following: MainVersionNumber . PatchNumber . SubversionOrHitfixNumber
Usually prior to official game releases you have version 0.#, but sometimes confusion is added by labeling something as Alpha or Beta version 1.#.
Generally within each number it just increments starting at 1 or 0.

So version 1.0.0 might be an initial release, 1.0.1 might be a patch with some hotfixes, and patch 1.1 might be the first big patch with extra content. So then 1.7 would be game version 1 (in this case not an expansion), major patch 7. And 1.12.1 would be game version 1, major patch version 12, hotfix patch number 1.

Planning like mad. Seal of Wrynn questline in particular, to get that BIS ring you have to essentially start at L14 (or whatever it was) with the chain as soon as humanly possible.

Farming for boss drops that won't drop, needing to run in and die so you are in range of being able to receive it via master loot.

I am convinced though Blizzard will mess up low level exp somehow.

Lots of people won’t realize this early on and will have to reroll this f they really want it. Many will think it is the cake walk it is now and cry about the the “good old days” when we could stop xp. Kek...
The Seal got better as time went on as well, after 1.12 I believe.

you’re so right on this, in my case, if I wouldn’t read about it I would have also think of it as the cake walk… it’s almost funny how much info can you miss out on if you’re not following extra sources outside the game
