Wont happen, massive joke

We keep telling them every year the TC should be held in the most populated bracket. Whichever that is at any given year. Each year it could be different.
For some reason they hold fast and keep at level 19.
It is their decision after all.

im glad 4 healing is banned, makes the games far slower

4 heals is unnecessary in 10 man. Three is plenty.

You wouldnt even have 2 teams competing because nobody gives a shit in that bracket. Thats exactly why they have the most populated bracket but still didnt manage to pull a big tournament in all those years. They could have done it already. They didnt! And you come here every few months and blame it on the 19s people. Whenever someone tried to make a tournament in the 20-29 bracket, they failed miserably because there was no interest. What about you giving it a try now? Pull the tourny Mr. - it will be great stuff!

I play 19’s my friend. If I were to “blame it on the 19s”, as you say, I would be blaming it on myself. Besides, placing blame isn’t my style. Finding solutions is.
I didn’t state what bracket/level. You just presumed I meant the 20-29. Sometimes certain levels are more popular than others at certain points in the game.
That should be considered if the administration wants a successful TC. There hasn’t been a “successful” TC in quite some time. At least in my opinion. By successful I mean by having high participation.
I am sure the administration would judge them as being successful since they actually happened. Don’t get me wrong, I applaud the administration’s efforts. It no doubt takes a lot of time and effort. Most of which goes unseen and unappreciated.

I like how your "solution" every year is chenge breket.
If other brackets had the will and incentives to have a tournament, don't you think after the idea of the twink cup five years ago, they might try forming something similar? There's a reason it doesn't or hasn't happened Ally, with all your knowledge I'd of thought you'd have easily come to that conclusion.
Honestly though, try and set something up if you feel like it shouldn't just be 19s having a good time. Best of luck sir.

The “official” TC is ran by site administrators my friend. Didn’t you know that?
One would think the administration would want what was best for the site not what is best for the vocal minority.
I haven’t stated it “shouldn’t be just be 19’s having a good time”.
If 19’s can field enough teams then so be it. If 20’s can field enough teams in a year then it should be a 20’s that year. 29’s, 39’s 70’s 110’s... what have you. The administrators really should keep their options open if they want to TC to flourish. Something different should be done. Because what is being done is now working.

Im not disagreeing at all, it'd be awesome to see another brackets TC. Maybe 2020 shall see the rise of a different bracket but there has to be the want from people to make it happen and to be fair I havent seen much fuss about it from other people aside from yourself. (recently at least)

Perhaps because they know they aren’t going to be included by default.

Hell, if it was up to me the tournament players would use characters with specific gear/enchants. ie every priest uses the gear/enchants rogue, hunter, etc. That way everyone was exactly the same. That way we would know which team was truly the best. It wouldn’t be gear/enchant based. Even if only a few stat points. Every class/spec would be the same across the board.
The administration would simply give out a gear/enchant list that had to be used. As opposed to a list of gear that can’t be used.
Everyone is on an even playing field this way as far as gear/enchants goes. Whether you started 10 years ago or you started a day ago. The tournament should be based purely on the team’s ability of playing the game together. This is a way we can get new blood into the tournament. Otherwise only fully geared people will feel compelled to compete. We have seen examples of it in this thread.
I have suggested this several times in the past and it got poohed poohed away.

I don't really see how changing the bracket would affect anything favorably. The type and caliber of player that the TC attracts is well aware that 19 is and has historically been one of the most populated and skill-dense (player wise) brackets. Maybe not so much these days after the exp changes though. The other brackets are there when 19 slows or when people just get bored, but when people think of excellent tink players, those players are most often found in 19s. Even some of the better and more popular players from 20-29+ come to roll a few 19s.

Not an XPoff administrator. The TC is site sponsored my friend.

Your own tourney != the twink cup.

If you have all these great ideas for a better tourney, why not run it? Proof of concept. “Oh shit, look how awesome the Allybebop Twink Classic was, maybe we should listen to this dude when he talks about organizing tournaments”

You’ve routinely implied that you have a stack of cash to offer for a prize pool and that you have a well of experience and talent that can be tapped to put on a brilliant contest. Why not do it?

Skill = practiced when it comes to video games. Please don’t think it is more than what it is. Video game “skill” is nothing more than a learned trait from doing the same thing repetitively. That’s really all it is. Practice more and you will become more “skillful”. That’s with just about anything really. I have seen people that are really skilled at texting on their phones. Probably because they spend a lot of time on it. Same with someone that plays a musical instrument. It is acquired trait through many hours of practice. Same with knowing how to draw. The more you practice the better you will get. Practice, practice, practice, practice...

The lower the levels the less abilities one has to learn. Thus it is easier to master.
A 10 is easier to master than a 19. A 19 is easier to master than a 39. A 39 is easier to master than a 59. A 59 is easier to master than an 89 and so on.
Lower levels have very little in the way of complication when compared to higher levels on many levels. That’s not to say lowbies can still be complicated. But you have to work at it. That same work could be applied to upper tiers as well.
Any way you look at it, the tier(s) above you will be more more difficult to master simply because of extra abilities/talents. That is simply the way it is.

You may be correct that it may not affect it favorably. However, when was the last time the TC had 80 players(8 teams) compete? That really isn’t unreasonable to ask. Out of the millions of players to have 80 people play. Even after I offered six month subscription last year we couldn’t muster that amount. Thinking out of the box to get more participation is my goal.

People have claimed mounts in some of my contests already my friend. Too bad you missed them.
