EU Shoulder Enchant

Who is good/trustworthy enough to apply a shoulder enchant to a pair of epic boulder pads? How much gold are they worth, what would it cost to enchant them (the service, not the enchant itself), and what happens if it fails (do I have to farm new shoulders and pay full price etc)? I’m on Kazzak EU Horde, lvl 19.

The market is dictated by the few that know how to enchant them. I know of 3-4 people that can do this. 5, if I include myself, however I don't think I'm good enough at it to risk a boulder pads. All of the players I know that trade glitch are very credible and have a fair success rate

I'm so sick of you fucking cheaters. So many people openly bash others that use consumables that are obtained via legit methods but nobody ever says shit about all the exploits.

A trade bug gives you 2 main stats and 1/2 secondary stats that make no difference at all other than more bis swag compared to speedpots, gliders, bombs that can win you a game because you can't do it on ur own

If it makes no difference at all then why are they bothering to put them on? If they're exploiting shoulder enchants then they'll probably exploit belt enchants as well and those are huge. That's probably what he's really looking for and just doesn't want to say it here.

Belt enchant is 600 absorb with 10 min cd. That's something you can use 1/2 a game compared to speedpots, gliders, bombs that u can use every 2/3 mins and have a way bigger impact. Like I said it's about the bis part and just for the simple fact that it's been in the game for ages without getting fixed and also no1 has ever gotten banned for it.

Nobody getting banned for it is the root of the problem. When game developers let exploits go, more and more people start using them. You want to try to minimize it in order to justify it. It's cheating plain and simple and the admins shouldn't allow people on this site to search for, advertise or endorse it. I will never cheat to gain an advantage because it would give me no satisfaction if I won. I will, however, use legit methods in game to gain an advantage. There are legitimate parts of the game I don't like but I don't try to stand on some artificial platform to try to tell people why they shouldn't use them.

Keep telling yourself that when you're using consumables to make you feel better about the fact that without them you have no clue what to do.

The same argument could be made about all spells and abilities. Without flameshock, healing surge etc I wouldn't know what to do. As it is, I have done wargames and I did just fine but it's also a level playing field.

I just want to enchant my new epic shoulders and would rather not have to farm another pair. Would be cool if someone could try to answer some of the questions from my op instead of derailing the thread ranting about ”cheating”.

If you or someone you know could help me out, just start a private conversation here on xpoff and we’ll take it from there. My starting offer is 15-25k gold on Kazzak EU Horde or a battle pet of similar value.

It’s not cheating imho, a lot of players do it and have for years. I rarely use consumables other than sharpening stones and matching others speed pots (like one stack of 20 in all BFA).

They should either change it so the item don’t become soulbound or remove req lvl 85 but as it is you have to work around it.

Those two statements don't back each other up. Using latency to obtain an enchant that cannot be obtained through normal means IS very clearly an exploit. Its semi-accepted because it hasn't been fixed and there hasn't been punishment for it - but theres no real argument that it isn't an exploit.

As to the original questions, the only one I can answer is that if it fails, you will have to farm the shoulders again. The rest is subjective depending on who you find to do the enchant.

Are all exploits considered cheating though? If a bug have been in the game for that long it’s probably not getting fixed. It’s not considered cheating or a bannable offence by Blizzard, unless I missed a blue post about it or something, care to link a source? It’s usable on BoA and scales down to your level, don’t you people use it, I see it in game or armory profiles all the time?

I do think northrend engineering enchants like grenade or shield should get nerfed/become unusable though, probably the Legion pre-event invasion gear for lowbies too...

Imagine thinking 2/1 stats is something worse than 50% incr. run speed, flying through the air, instant 50% heal, 30% damage increase, stealth detection etc.

The only real argument would be against BFA belt tinkers (applied by same method), since a quite huge damage absorb or a fear could be quite game-changing as well (although they aren't as spamable as the consumables I mentioned).

On topic, I don't actually know of people who can do it on Kazzak specifically. Were you on Draenor however, you'd have a few options.

Yeah, thats kinda exactly what cheating is according to the EULA.

cheats; i.e. methods not expressly authorized by Blizzard, influencing and/or facilitating the gameplay, including exploits of any in-game bugs, and thereby granting you and/or any other user an advantage over other players not using such methods;

Its not that it "isn't considered cheating or a bannable offence by blizzard" - its just that they haven't acknowledged it. Since they haven't for a long time, its probably fairly "safe" as far as these things go, especially considering that its usually only a couple of stats - but it is 100% cheating.

Enchanting heirlooms is not exploiting a bug. The MoP leg enchants that don't soulbind the item are not using bugs.

I’m thinking on transfering to Draenor once I’m done farming BoE’s actually. Wouldn’t it be possible for someone to just make a class trial alt on my server and apply the enchant, then get paid in pets (or gold to invest in pets that can be caged and sold on any server)?
