So this probably won't end well, but I rolled a new Nelf Hunter and will be completing (but not turning in) all the ranged weapon quests. The part that probably won't end well is when I get them all and start turning them in, hoping to get one to upgrade to epic. Wish me luck!

Ahhh cool, I was under the impression incendiary was still a little bit more powerful.

idc
incend is more RNG burst and gale force is more sustained damage, it's a mini drums that procs super often which helps with aimed shot casts (which is bursty alone without incend). if you can get an epic weapon i definitely think it's the best choice

I think thats about it for my rogue outside of getting a 2nd boulder pads since I forgot I could put +2 stam on it (no exploited shoulders for me), getting slightly better rolls on bracer/ring, and the slight chance of getting a 7/4 quickblade silvermoon chest that I'm not holding my breath for.

Thanks =). I've been doing most of it without phasing (occasionally some nice folks will invite me if I'm there) - and got luckier with most of the rare epics (the farm epics IMO are easier to put the time into than the rares). The legs really didn't want to drop though - so glad the aforementioned folks brought me in for realm hops, as we could get like 5x the number of kills. Definitely would have needed a few weeks to get that same number of kills.
