since the patch that removed the level 40 requirement for plate/mail
all mail items that were originally meant for plate users like foremans legs got rerolled to agility stats
and absolutely no items got rerolled to plate other than quests/dungeons

Yeah, it's a royal pain.

Gearing non plate twinks is a million times easier, because there are so many things you can just farm that are great. Unfortunately, you're pretty much stuck with getting lucky with Epic quest rewards as plate...or re-trying until you do. Or just waiting until they change things again and something else is now OP and BIS.

This goes both ways too. Leather classes are a nightmare to gear with all the boe's and epics to farm/rng for. I wish there were more plate options but at the same time I value my sanity more than pixels.

Here's hoping they make a plate slitherscale set version one day.

Grinding insane amounts reminds me of the old days of Everquest, so I like it.

Then again, even the most grindy hardest aspects of Vanilla in WoW are like childsplay compared to EQ. ._.
