To be honest I don't understand why you would want to run tournaments out of Classic. Maybe it is just me, but the slow game play and the no BG timers would be dreadful to watch.

If you want to attempt to run successful tournaments I would think you would just focus on retail anyway, even though it sucks hardcore as well.
 
Classic is insane boring. Your idea is a nice mind but it doesn't fit to this expansion. It is just boring
 
Classic and Esport is like drinking orange juice with black coffee together. Orange and vodka are great but not with black coffee. Classic will bring many people and traffic back but esport thing won't survive there.

Not to dunk on your analogy but get a good sweet African coffee with a lighter roast, put a shot of oj in it and it's really quite good.

But yea, literally nobody wants esports and classic.
 
Terrible idea. But hey its Conq, can you really expect anything more?
