110's Non BFA Accounts

I just resurrected an account I haven't played since MoP, because I had some banked stuff on it that I wanted to play with and sell.

It has a ton of 90s, and no BFA. So I was wondering...Maybe just twink them at 110?

Any specific server going on for this?

Down to play whatever. I love healing on Resto Druid.

I'd have plenty of gold to fund myself if on Alliance Draka, Dragonmaw, Kilrogg or Proudmoore. :)

Transferring to a non-BFA account to circumvent the xp-off rule sounds like a bannable offense. Not a traditional exploit, no... But it's still using the mechanics of the game to circumvent the obvious intended behavior, which is what they seem to use as criteria for being bannable. I know nobody here wants to think they're doing anything wrong or that they're putting themselves at risk, but...

Any word from support on this? Anyone get in trouble?

has it been reported? nothing on bug forum or pvp forum that ive seen. also i think people using a macro to get into regular xp on games is a bigger cheat than paying for a character transfer.

I talked to GM over the phone about this after talking about a different issue, and he said you SHOULDNT be able to xfer to a legion account from a BFA, but if it let you, there is nothing much they can do. But I have a feeling the thing they can do is down the road take away your azerite and HOA if they see the characters was indeed xfered from a BFA account

Oh I certainly agree that the macro to cheat the xp-off rule directly is much worse. A transfer is "within the rules" but it has that "feel" of an exploit. I fear Blizzard won't care much for the details. They've been harsh about bans for exploits this expansion, even when they are at fault for leaving the bug in release patches.

Support helped me with the transfer and accepted my money

I have 4 110 characters not doing anything, all in crap gear. This could be a good use for them.

I would want to blast through the bra 295 quests and had seen the guides on what to obtain from where but I have no idea what is best.
I have the following classes what would you say is the best traits for each.

Hunter
Dk
Priest
Shaman
Oh and a 110 boost ready to be used.

This thread is for 110s on Legion accounts.

frost dk is retarded right now
hunter and priest are already top tier so i imagine twinked either can be fun. i don’t see many shammys but that doesn’t mean its not a good class to play. they have alot of tools to use besides the damage they can put out.

not on your list but mage hits hard AF

Yes but on this very thread there is discussions on transferring a BFA 110 to Legion once the Azerite armor has been acquired.
I thought it was a good question for some possible speedy replies, apologies if I offended anyone.

I ran into this on my 110 account that has no BfA. A twink on the other team had been crushing bgs all day, ilvl 270, heart 43, clearly transferred a character from a BfA account to a non-BfA account to exploit this oversight. Our team had the ilvls you would expect of players who have not purchased BfA, 150-200.

I'm reporting. This can't have been intended.

If they didn't want ppl to get bfa gear into these bgs they wouldn't have had a bfa trial

hopefully he’s exploiting the experience toggle and youre not reporting someone playing the game as intended. im making a 110 feral druid and took a break from questing yesterday to do a few bg’s with my xp on and only got around 2 boxes of experience for a win. 3 az pieces and mastery quest gear hes over 70% mastery and 47k hp. playing the game as intended might be hard to differentiate from the bads exploiting the experience toggle is all im saying.

On non bfa the dedicated 110 can get much higher than 200 ilevel

What you describe is if the player only gets pvp gear and does no raiding of Legion content
There is also very powerful rings and trinkets you can get

What I am describing is an azerite twink with 270 ilvl, 2 pieces of 300 azerite gear, and a 43 heart queuing in a 110 bg with players that have never had access to BfA content.

This is an exploit, one which is clearly against the rules, which I was unaware of at the time I posted in this thread.

This did not happen on a 3 day trial.

Read up this thread to see how easy it is to transfer an azerite twink to a non-BfA account and play as xp on against 150-200 ilvl players who have never had access to BfA content.

I repeat. It is explicitly against the rules to transfer a character into an earlier expansion account.
