If you're really, really good at the class and good with timing things, sure. You can be useful. If you focus on objectives instead of KBs? Sure, absolutely.

Are you going to do as good as about 75% of the rest of people and top charts? Well......It's pretty unlikely.

Should you play it if you like the spec, anyway? Absolutely.

Following.. guilty pleasure, really want WW or Enhance to be fun at 20 :(

Im starting to believe that everybody's idea of a "non-viable" spec is anything that isnt capable of killing another player in 1-4 globals lol.

Windwalker is viable.
Enhancement is viable.

Not exactly, but if people say they do noodle dmg, I'm gonna assume they don't do enough to leave a mark.
But I'm open to seeing otherwise... of course, considering I've never seen not one enhance nor ww monk 20 twink.

Rising kick hits pretty hard, overall does ok damage (per hit) but the main issue we have here is the fact that blackout kick costs 2 chi (same as rising kick until lvl22) and that is the main turn off for the class. Its actually pretty fun to play other than being energy starved because you have to spam tiger palm to get the chi to use blackout kick the way its supposed to.

Compared to a Marks hunter? Or an Arc mage? Sure, they do noodle damage.
Frame of reference is how consumers determine their opinions, and this is why people believe "non-viable" classes aren't viable.
Both of the specs mentioned are great hybrids, capable of doing reliable off heals.
Both of the specs have reliable mobility.
Windwalker arguably has some of the best peels in the bracket.
Enhancement has the strongest kick obtainable to FTP/Vets, along with a mass-slow.

Neither spec will chunk you down to 50% health in 1-3 seconds (under normal circumstances, that is*), however...both are more then capable of holding their own and playing at a successful level in objective play. FOTM is on a cycle, so play what you enjoy: Every class will have its 15 minutes of fame.

Yea, this is a pretty solid point. It has alot to do with healers being busted and people thinking "well fuck, why play WW when MW is available and strong as all hell"

Same reason people play arcane instead of frost. Frost is gonna be a better team player in WSG but it cant keep up with the dps of arcane so people shelve it.

You can play literally any class and spec in this bracket and do well if you're looking to play your spec for what its built to do.
