EU+US F2P picture thread

Three months after making the achievement, I had today the opportunity to talk with a GM ... who turned out to be really nice! :)
And here comes my new mount, the Bleakhoof Ruinstrider :cool:

Top tip when you want something from a GM : Never ask it in a ticket, always ask in live chat. That's where you can impress them, tell your story, and any argument you find useful to get your thing ;) (but don't take them for dumbs ^^ there may be some, but not many)

Is it easy to get? (In a few days, I mean - not farming alot of reps and shits for months like the fat human race)
I want this mount. It would look great with my green huntard mog.

Can you get it as F2P?

I'll start by answering the last question : I'm pure-f2p, so yeah, anyone can obtain it ^^ The only tricky thing is that it comes per mail, so you have to find a kind GM to add it to your collection ^^

Then, is it easy ? Depends if you have a high level friend ;) As you have to kill 2000 demons on Argus :p
You can do it 100% without help, by letting guards kill demons that you hit first ... but i'll be a real pain and a really long grind.

If you got a friend, you have just to "afk" near him to get credits for the kills. I don't exactly remember the time it took to me, but it was between 5 and 8 hours of constant mob grind ... (you'll find the specific spots in the wowhead comments)

(and except the tricky part of finding a good GM ... you also have to find good friends to summon you on Argus :D )

I got this achievement with my F2P hunter but the GMs dont want to give me the rat mount to my payed account...
I wrote 2-3 tickets and they all made jokes and just joked with me. No one gave me the mount :( I`ll try again in a few years. I wont farm this fishing shit again with my 120... It took me 20 days with my F2P hunter.

This answer may help also others who want to have some GM favors about objects comming per mail :
- I got lucky to have a kind GM at the first try ... they are not all F2P-friendly
- Wait that the item got deleted from the mailbox before asking for a restoration (so that they can't screw you up by adding some gametime so you can access mailbox). You still have the achievement as a proof that you "should have earned the object"
- Don't mention the object of your desire in your ticket (they have access to ticket history, and harassing them with a same request won't help you) ... find another thing to report or to ask, and wait to have a live chat with a GM
- When your GM ask you "is there anything else I can help you with?" then it's your opportunity to ask what you want ... but don't turn it as if the only thing you wanted from the start of the discussion was to be able to ask that "secondary question" ... GM are not dumb ...

And most important : GM are humans ... don't try to fool them or you might ruin your chances to get any favor in the future (and try to let a good impression about twinks ;) )

The only "live chat" experience with a GM was when I beg them to remove my in-game "squelch" :D And they didnt remove anything, the GM decided to put a few more weeks to my "silence"... I`ve lost hope in the current GMs. PM me the name of the "good" GM if you want :p I`ll try to ask for the Ratstallion mount to be send to my payed acc mail. (I wont mention you or any of our convo ofc).

Nice work! I remember being stuck at "74 pets" for weeks... and how excited I was when they introduced Nethaera's Light which enabled me to get my 75th. Now here I am almost four years later and I still haven't gathered my 100th.

There's just too many other "pieces of cheese" in this damn rat maze... :mad:
