Let's consolidate brackets so we can get some queues to pop!

If we can build another bracket to pop queues, which bracket should it be? (Pick up to 3)

Outside of 10-19, 20-19, and 100-119, it seems games do not pop at all. There was a suggestion made on the Blizzard forums I liked, so I'm bringing it here...

What if those of us who were in all the other brackets agreed to concentrate on one in the middle somewhere, like 40-49 or 60-69? Would anyone else be interested in strategically building the community at a mid-level bracket to pop games with more complete toolkits?

I dig this idea. I already have toons in 39s, 49s, 70s, and 80s, so obviously I'd prefer one of those, but this could be pretty cool to build up a bracket community to ensure people are still getting games. I think 49s and 80s are among the most balanced brackets around, so I'd argue for one of those, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks for thinking of this @Knewbie.

Pick one no one plays so it sucks equally for everyone gearing up. (cant say what that will do to participation tho)

I would say no to 39s, because there honestly isn't that much special about the bracket to separate it from other brackets, and it's probably one of the worst to try to gear for. I say this as someone with six 39s. 49s is a great option because you have three talents and a PvP talent, an epic mount, and incredibly diverse gearing/talent options for nearly any class. Only a small handful of specs aren't viable at 49.

99 and 109 seem like too much leveling and also too much like endgame.

Just a few thoughts.

Thanks for thinking of this @Knewbie.
While I appreciate praise, I must give credit where credit is due...although now I can't find the suggestion to link from Blizzard's battlegrounds forum.

For the record, even though I currently only have 29s and 69s, I think the most viable option is 49s, and would be happy to make new characters to play in that bracket!

50-59 has had consistent war games since the split and the community is very active in trying to keep it around!

I am a huge fan of 49s

that being said surely 70s would be more popular as there are many 70 and 79 twinks

TBH these 2 offer great opportunities and balance in different ways. Both S tier twink brackets.

Plus 49s were super active during pre-patch and right after BFA dropped... a lot of us just did some other things for a while as we waited for the Ramm’s nerf haha. Now that it’s been brought in line, 49s should be about as balanced as the game gets, plus it has that nice vanilla feel.

70 for sure. Besides, we're rebuilding our bracket right now. We have already managed 2 Wargame BG evenings with at least 18 70s. If you are interested or have questions about 70, please add NvmKristian#2372 :)

I want to point out that should you choose 70-79, you're effectively choosing 70.

79s tend to not be invited to anything and there are too few of them to have events of their own.

Makes no sense to play 70 over 79 other than people being weird. An extra talent and mastery unlocked. Tbh being invited to things seems irrelevant as I was constantly invited to “70 only” war games on my 79.

But none of that matters, the point of this thread is just to be able to have Q pops, without having to coordinate a pre-made.

I can’t stand the current state of the game - to have to coordinate premades through this community just to get a BG pop is sad. Blizzard has really let us down this time.
[doublepost=1553000557,1552999712][/doublepost]To argue 70-79:

Super versatile play-style. Literally every class and spec is viable. Whether you go 70 or 79 there are so many different gear set-ups, talent choices, honor talents, gems, enchants, and trinkets.

For me, it’s a fun bracket too because most of your BiS isn’t BoE so you just grind out your gear. Personally, I’ve only got 79s (Druid and priest) but I’m friends with lots of 70s and they seem to love it too. It’s pretty cool running around in full epics and raid weps. Good wep procs make it always interesting. 70-79s take a lot of pride in their characters because the gear is grinder, not purchased. VERY fun bracket and was by far the most active pre-8.1.5

Just to be clear i twink at 119 and have yet to get 1 pop after the split, 119 community is in shambles, the only queues happening are in XP-ON bgs

People on Blizzard's forums were saying otherwise, but that's good to know...sorry.
