EU+US Is there any reason to twink 29 anymore?

Then they should continue no problem?

LMAO at this whole thread and the title, it's just so great.

You are aware that some people don't have all the time in the world right? Taking time to organize wargames can take time and for some people it's not an option to sit in que for 1 hour. therefor it makes sense to make a level 20 now and just hop on for some casual games whenever they have free time.

Good so do that? The whole premise of this thread is 29s have been great forever, without f2ps, but now they are struggling to figure out if its worth it? Those too statements contradict one another.

I've never once said I agree with op's statement have I? I personally played cata and most of mop as a level 20 on my rogue. I just think that both f2p's, vet's and 29's have the same claim to the bracket.

F2ps were created to farm real trials and levellers though... You even went above and beyond for ways to premade to do it more.

It's actually all on this website for anyone who cares to look.

There was no levelers in the f2p bracket when they were introduced, sure there were some undergeared real trials but no levelers.

Way back when, before the 20s and the 24s. And before xp lock. We didnt Get xp in bgs. So What we did was count xp for all the quest gear we needed etc. And tried to Get to a major city before ding. Then our twinks stayed in IF etc only to venture outside when a duel was in order. You dont see us oldschool players take ownership of the bracket even tho we paved the way for the generations that came back. We had unwritten rules in bgs, no gy camp/ no honor farm etc. When xplock got introduced there was an influx of new twinks, the community grew and people wanted more. World PvP amongst twinks became a thing. Remember this was when wow had a playerbase that vastly surpasses the reality of today. And then came the day that divided levelers and twinks. We had the same mindset as some of you have today, «great! Let those levelers get theire own bracket becouse us twinks can simply plan games between ourself» safe to say we where proven wrong. At first we got some games, but after a couple of months the community slowly died out. (There where some players that did theire absolute best to Keep it going). Im not trying to stomp on any dreams of getting regular games. But its extremely time consuming, and for the players that work/study do whatever else there only are a few hours of the day that can be used for playing a game. And if twinking is What you think is mostfun , 2-3 bgs in an evening is not worth it. I really hope the most dedicated and capable organizers can pull it off. But for the majority i dont see the playerbase being able to stay afloat.

Depends, do you like to wait 1 hour for a Warsong that will take 10min?

yeah I forgot... That's actually worse though.

Edit: also a very good point. I wouldn't be surprised if f2p was over looked and they end up back in the xpoff queue.

Not to derail the ridiculous whining and back and forth rhetoric in this thread but I think I am going to make a 20 getered out and smash all the kids that were crying about twinks while waiting on classic.

Anyone wanna point me to the best class that would be to do so for a 20?

Zandalari look amazing in their fang suits, by the way...

And their other forms are just all around cooler than any other race. 'Specilally those twiggy Kul tirans.

Skimming through this makes me want to buy a new computer, resub and dust off my boots so I can derp over some bad ex29s again. Alas though it's not even remotely worth it since they'd just end up quitting/logging anyways.

20-24 was the 20s bracket because 24s made up for 1% of the brackets activity before 20s entered.
20-29 was the 20s bracket because 29s made up for 5%, at best, of the brackets activity before 20s entered.

20s, vets and/or F2Ps, will continue to be the reason whatever bracket they're in has any queues. Anyone arguing this is either stupid or dumb.

@OP you won't stay 29 since you never cared about competition and now that 20s were removed your punching bags are gone. Save us your ignorant and arrogant posts and just state that you're rerolling a 20 vet so the rest of us that's stayed as a 20 vet even though 29 faceroll was always an option can get a nice laugh.

@other 29s, either stay in your bracket and make wargames (lul) for competition or follow the 20s back to their bracket, again, and reroll a 20. If you do the former, goodluck and hopefully ggs. If you do the later, own up to the reasoning.

Unfortunately I have not unlocked a single allied race and have no idea how other than looking at the achievements. Is zandalri the easy one to unlock?

F2p hunters and there delusions

F2P players trying to convince themselves and others that 29s players are garbage, because they can't afford gametime :)

OP I don't know if you are EU or US but there are so many better options available to players to organise than there were 10 years ago when players like myself and Bendar played the bracket. Now there are cross realm parties, community groups and Battlenet tags to keep players connected. There was none of that back in Wotlk. It was some effort just to get a couple of WSGs and if we were lucky an AB. Many players had to transfer because battlegroups existed back then, I was in a battlegroup that had fewer 29s and so had to transfer to a busier battlegroup. We had to use outside chat rooms to coordinate queues. That type of dedication for 1 or 2 games an evening always had a shelf life. 29s ruled this bracket before 20s existed, I've got toons older than any 20 around. This is my second account on this site I've been on it since it was twinkinfo back in 2009. These 20s acting like 29s were made to shit on them are really just deluded fools with an entitlement complex. Twinking existed before 20s were a thing and ask yourself whats more damaging to the game as a whole, those who pay to play or those trying to get a free ride.

If you want to play with quick queues for now role a Vet or f2P toon. My prediction is Blizzard will more than likely move them back in to the xpoff queue before this expansion is over.
