Boosting with Dungeon Scaling

Hi,
I am wondering if any of you tried boosting others using chars at the respective maximum level for certain content.
For example:
level 60 with best enchants so you can boost others trough classic content .
(with bc and wotlk gear witch sockets)
level 80 with cata and pandaria gear (maybe wotlk raid gear)boosting trough bc and wotlk
level 90 with WoD gear maybe the maxlevel Crafted gear

How is your experience with that is it faster or not. And is equipping these character worth the effort.

It doesn't make you strong enough to efficiently solo stuff anymore. Strong for your level but not solo-strong.

The squish ate up your secondary stats. Didn't even tip...

edit- you're actually probably stronger at lower levels from 1-60 - until tomorrow when they scale chants more.

I've actually been thinking about this as well since leveling boosting has really taken off.

I think Warglave is right about lower levels. A maxed out Paladin or Warrior tank at level 15 would be a good machine for 15-60; the dungeons might not be solo-able, but making use of the random dungeon finder would only pop RFC or Deadmines which are both super easy, and your client would receive the bonus xp to help offset the loss that comes from running a group of 5 instead of 2.

I can’t find the old post, but this has been talked about in the past.

Your best bet would be a level 15 twink Prot pally/feral druid if I can remember right

I also do this on my 19 ret by swapping ret, mass pulling, and using frag belt when all the mobs are gathered

Same concept for a 15 twink but better secondaries pretty sure
