Few questions before I 110 Boost

Was reading and learned a lot about the bracket. But I have a few questions before I boost a character to 110 and lock XP:

How long is the grind for gear on a 110 to max or get close to BIS? I may go druid or shaman.

Is it expensive to enchant, or level professions, etc, to max the 110 out? I'm used to 29 and 39s.

I'm looking for a fun OP bracket with fast BG pops, is 110 recommended?

So 110 has it's own bracket? Is that boosters mainly?

Any help would be appreciated!

some questing for certain azerite pieces but not bad in terms of time invested to a mostly complete toon. to be BiS you’ll need weekly H Ant runs which can be a pain to pug or costly to buy runs.

expensive to enchant? not really

fast pops? i think that might depend on the time of day you play.

110 is its own bracket comprised of players leveling, players who dont have BFA and xp off twinks.

You should probably look up some youtube vids of 110 PvP, and that will either cement you in or push you out.

There's a shelf-life on this, as they should be integrated into 111-119 next xpac… but that's a ways off.

"OK" gearing is pretty easy, BiS will take you a while unless you're reaaaally lucky or buy it like seven said. I think by the time antorus will be a cakewalk like HFC is now, it'll be too late to enjoy "BiS" for very long. Maybe not.

I'm not sure how it's "unfair" for other twinks to play together.

Everyone who hasn't upgraded to BfA will stop at 110. So if they PvP, you'll be with them and others like yourself that just locked their XP, for whatever reason. SO anyone from fresh 110 to locked full-bore antorus/BfA hybrids will be your world.

119 might be your better bet. There's a gear ceiling you wont be able to break until (maybe) the anniversary event, tho.

Just a comparison, at 117 -ALL- the world and dungeon azerite slots upgrade to 295(300) not just the last 3 you quest for. Although all those questing rules still apply, even at 119 your quest azerite is only 280(5) until you get to the same point.

Professions etc don't make much difference and are definitely not required. Utility tinkers from engineering are of course still very useful.

Enchanting/gemming etc. bout normal for a twink you can farm it yourself or drop 10-20kish.

110 is its own bracket for now.

No one in the bracket is BiS because it requires about ten 25 ilvl+socket+leech forges on mythic antorus gear. To be on par with most geared twinks you really just need about 260 ilvl which most people can get by questing and a couple mythic antorus runs.

I appreciate the info everyone. Will try a balance druid after watching Winterleaf on YT. Looks like some fun. Need a new distraction after work as it's taxing AF!
