Mystic's Sphere req lvl 18

Is it confirmed that the Mystic's Sphere req lvl 18 is GF'd? Is it not possible to get the original unscaled version from chests?

wowhead doesn't say that it is contained in any kind of chest. On the other hand, I've also heard that wowhead is an unreliable source.

A bit late to this thread but one popped up on my AH on Argent Dawn-EU for 200k which I was able to buy (probably over priced as shit but I wanted it so bad - been looking for one since the start of my 19 druid). When I spoke to the guy, he said he picked it up from the AH the same day for a few hundred gold so I have a feeling that it is still available but very rare.

My only guess is that someone was levelling through Blackfathom Deeps (I believe you can get it from the mobs in there as I got another Mystic piece while soloing it to test the drops) and got really lucky with the drop but didn't realise it's value for a level 19 twink so just put it on the AH for the same price as the others which were all level 58-60s etc.
