Looking to twink.

Hi, I'm new here and was thinking of making a healer a twink. Was wondering if there are good people I should look at. I was considering a Holy Priest or Resto Druid. Depending on which is stronger. Or if neither are in a great state then my last resort a Resto Shaman. Hope to see you all on the battle field. Also for the Alliance!

Heya, welcome to the bracket!

I play priest horde-side, and out of the choices that you gave I would probably recommend Resto shaman the highest. Holy priest is eclipsed by disc in this bracket & IMO only shines if you are running alongside a disc that can take care of the proactive / mitigation side of things while you get your reactive heals off. I can’t speak too much for druids as I don’t really play them, but I’ve seen one or two pull off some nice numbers in BGs.

Figured 69 since 9 is usually the top end of brackets.

Speaking from resto druid pov,

I would roll druid for a few reasons. One, you can always spec boomkin and be one of the strongest caster dps in the game with 0 gear change. It's fun to mix it up, where as shaman you probably need to off play as enhance which is a new set of gear. SP is the same gear and super strong also.

Two, feral affinity/master Shapeshifter is insanely broken. More so at 69 than any other bracket. (first bracket with f.affin and master shapeshifter) My 99 rdruid his as hard as my 69, idk why. I'd argue it's one of thw highest dmg dot classes in the bracket and a top 3 1v1 class. I might be biased though. You can top charts even vs other twinks if you focus only into dmg which is insane for a healer.

Third, spec double swiftmend + 3rd wind potions and guardian affinity makes for an extremely tough kill and very nice burst heals to go along with the best hots at 69. If your focus is healing and you're good at kiting you can absolutely be a havoc and force the other side to focus you first, then you just kite them. If you can find Shar's armory that is a prime example of what I'm describing. NE with meld has so much outplay potential and horde cow stomp is a big get away ability, though ne is better imo. That's my case
