Resto Shaman and Mistweaver Monks are able to compete with Disc Priest for sure. Rogues aren't all that. They're obviously good (they always are), but they can definitely be beaten. Their defensives are very weak so they have to play a very careful game. Frost Mage is definitely really strong, but it still has weaknesses. Shadow Priests and Destro Locks do well against them, for example.
There's a lot of specs that do just fine in arena, but, because there are so few people playing, the amount of testing that can be done on this topic is extremely limited. People perpetuating this idea that you have to play certain classes in order to be able to participate at all doesn't exactly help.

If u wanted to talk about arena then maybe change the title and put "arena wargames" in ur message. wargames can be seen as arena or bg and not once did u mention "arena" in ur post, no hate but not everyone checks # since it's not that appealing
As for queing arena, its run by discpriest/mwmonk/restodruid simply because they can deal damage and have a surprise one shot, there's no competition in that at all
And yes less people do arena since there's no merit in doing them, most of the 2.2rating+ people already left and all ur left with is those under 2k trying come in and beat other under 2k skill and then claim they run this bracket

Saying noone is obligated to explain anything seems like a moot point to me. This thread is asking people to explain. If they don't want to explain, then why are they in this thread?
I have almost every class at 70, not only Priest. I just enjoy Priest the most (at max level as well). Dreams and I actually constantly switched comps when people complain that we're just winning because of OP stuff. I remember in WoD when arenas were fairly active even without rating, we'd purposefully play weak comps against people playing FotM just to give them no excuse.
Dreams actually played Hunter for the majority of his time at 70, only picking up Rogue around the start of WoD and dropping Hunter pretty much entirely after Legion launch because of the changes to Survival.
Gucciyo plays several classes as well. Don't really play with him in general so Idk much.
Personally I'm 2800+ exp at max level. Do I count as an "under 2k skill" ?

Druid healer can't keep up with healing/still does decent damage but that's why it's worth playing it since if u win that's somewhat of an achievement
I been playing holy priest lately since it's not OP as disc
I've gotten glad 3k rating this exp during last season and 8/8m uldir, 2/8m atm on the new raid (not to flex or anything)

You have it backwards as well. I enjoy Priest, which happens to be OP at 70. You're trying to make it sound like I play Priest because it's OP, when that's not the case at all. As mentioned, I also play most of the other classes. Hell, I think I have more hours on Resto Shaman and DK at 70 than Priest.
If you don't want anything to do with certain people, why talk shit about them? Seems like a weird thing to do. Classic move to call people bad but refuse to play against them, tbh.

Again, my opinion is backed up by this whole thread. If 70 arena was so great it wouldn't exist.
I would go as far as saying in the EU this bracket is worse than 29s... At least they have decent queue times.
If you want arenas make a tournament... Throw in some pets, a mount, I dunno, anything. Maybe boost the winner a bis class of their choice. Don't just get OP to come on the forums and basically say 'why you know play with my ball'.
