I love how Americans have uber stringent rules on what condiment/type of cheese on some classic foods
I always go ketchup/mustard combo on hotdogs and always have cheese and onions. I think cheese is no no for purists but for me it perfectly compliments the lips and anus.
One thing I dont get though is 'cheese wiz' one of my mates is from th eUS and het gets these giant fkn cans of the shit mailed over. I was so excited to try it considering the effort he went through to get his fix and it was quite simply one of the worst violations of flavor/texture/aesthetic that ive ever experienced, I shudder to think what the production process is, its creation can surely only come from someone that hates cheese or was wronged by someone somehow thaat loved cheese and this was his evil plot to get revenge by destroying the beauty and innocence of one of humanities greatest creations.

We don’t have stringent rules. As far as this thread goes, we’re just bullshitting on these forums as to which condiment is the BEST!!
Americans love (all kinds of) food, and we eat hot dogs and hamburgers with a lot of different condiments.

I dont mean literally every person, but I think there are strongly held opinions on what the correct/only choice of condament is for certain items, im, its all in good humor im sure, im not suggesting people are being gunned down in the street for choosing mayo on something.
I tihnk its great, it demonstrates a passion that is abscent with that type of product in australia . Fast food in Australia is so fkn trash, I envy the pride that non chain places in the US take in the product they sell. So rare here, its hard to even find a burger place here that makes there own fkn meat pattys, iuts all frozen bulk sold bullshit
