US Interested in 39s, advice/info?

I haven’t twinked in the 39 bracket since about Wrath and I was curious how active arenas are? I twink 19 right now but I’m honestly quite bored with it. I’m interested in playing Shadow Priest (unless it’s obsolete in the bracket arenas of course)
 
Shadow priest is an excellent choice for 39s right now in BGs and arena. Also fairly easy to gear. Basically keep an eye out for ilvl 44 green aurora gear on AH. There are some acceptable quest drop alternatives for cloak and bracers. Helm will be green lens of the aurora.
 
There are people that like to play wargame arenas and often at the end of BG wargame nights people will close things out with some 3's games. Unfortunately, unlike wrath, you can't just queue up on say a Wednesday evening and expect to get steady arena pops against twinks (ie: you'll sit in queue for a very long time and often end up just getting levelers).
 
With that being said, if you're outgoing, you can get arena pops against twinks 'every Wednesday evening'. They just won't happen without some coordination or letting others know you have a team Qing.
 
A lot of people are normally always down to arena, me being one of them, try to post in the in-game 39 group when your queing and there a good chance ill try to put a team together lol
