Hello folks! As I mentioned before, I want to develop the fresh Level 70 Armory. After the first PvP Competition release and the announcement for Achievements in the near future, I would like to introduce the PvE Competition.

I've been thinking for years about how I can encourage PvE players and maybe even lead PvP players to rethink. And I firmly believe that perhaps today I have found the solution together with you. I have 3 suggestions for you to judge honestly and maybe even find something.

Basically, my proposals consist of certain prerequisites. A first requirement would be that a group consists exclusively of level 70s. In dungeons it has to be 5 players and in raids it has to be 10. There can't be less players, because first of all we can check with 5 players if it really was a Only Level 70 run (since you have to create a group online on the web with which you visited an instance, the system then checks the match of all 5 characters), promote the community and promote the old search for players.

Now to the suggestions:

PvE Conquest Points Leaderboard
Everyone who clears Dungeons/Raids with 70s get rated on the leaderboard.
Clearing Hero Dungeons with 5x Level 70 Twinks gives u 5 Conquest Points
Clearing Raids with 10x Level 70 Players gives u 15 conquest points
participating & watching an open world event (must be an announced event with at least more than 8 Level 70s) gives u 30 conquest points

Item Level Leaderboard 1
There will be a new max item level rise every 2 PvP seasons. Players must go to 5t hero dungeons and raids to farm gear. After the visited dungeons are diced in the Armory system for the char and at the end you get a virtual upgrade or not.

Item Level Leaderboard 2

There will be a new max item level rise every 2 PvP seasons. Players must go to 5t hero dungeons and raids to farm gear. Ingame farms the items you want (e.g. a 115 item to reach the max 120 item level). You don't have to create the item, just leave it in your pocket, log it out and create it online in an online web interface. after creating it, you can log out and sell the item, but it remains stored in the armory. With this we get the patches back from BC.

I hope you like at least one of them.

Whats the best gear you can get at 70? Is it Sunwell / BT Stuff or is there Northrend pieces you can get that make you OP at that level?

Great ideas. Have you thought about a similar mythic leaderboard system with timed runs?

Had you posted this 2 weeks ago, my MVP vote would've been yours!

Thank you Sponsor for your feedback :). I didn't list the idea here because it will exist 100%. Only the implementation is under consideration

Sadly heroics don’t pose much of a challenge. And I don’t believe in limiting gear to make content enjoyable. I think raids are where the real challenges are going to be. And specific encounters are the problem with group size. I’d honestly do a required lineup for raids since with new ability’s And specific ability’s you can cheese fights. For example, disallow hunters from the brutallus encounter, and no mws on the felmyst encounter etc. stuff like that

What are some gear options from Northrend and beyond that 70s can use and be a little more of a Twink then somebody decked out in Sunwell Gear?

So I understand what your asking but how does that make you anymore of a twink then sunwell Gear? Anyways, there is the signet of bridenbrad, vestige of haldor, there is a staff that is bis for feral and gaurdian from quests out there, and a quest cape for str users with a socket that I can think of off the top of my head

What blackberry is saying is that tbc raid gear is the best gear you can get for the majority of your slots. With a few notable exceptions, like he mentioned.

so, i like the first option there, however: raids would have to award conquest points specific to the raid's difficulty.

if a tbc heroic awards 5, then mag has to be 25, gruul would have to be 20 for each boss, ssc would have to be 15 for each boss except vashj being 25.

tk has to be 20 per boss, kael being 40.
hyjal has to be 25 per boss, bt would end up being 25 per boss except nazj, being 15 and council at 30 and illidan at 40.

and then every single boss in sunwell has to be worth 70 if youre only allowing a group of 10.
if its 10 + then all sunwell bosses would be 35.

edit: i forgot kara existed for a minute. every kara boss would be worth 10.

Thanks for your feedback! I find your additional idea very interesting and I will definitely have a look at it and analyze it
