4 drops for 4 kills so far today.... my DK who got a belt and 1h so far (yes, 1 belt all event until yesterday) got a 1h and 2 cloaks... and now my DH got her 3rd Eskandars on her first kill. So If I put those 3 Esk's together I have a perfect one!

edit- awww. 5th kill gold. Ah well.

Same thing happen to me lol but my neck piece is 321 and my warforged was 343 it was bittersweet was a upgrade but temporary smh

not true, traits still work without the heart equipped, you can test this easily enough. SS here of thirsting blade buff still active with heart removed

I finally got a belt for my warrior so I have that and a cloak (and a lot of gold) on him so far :/ I got a cloak and 2nd ring on my druid last night giving me 4 on him and my priest finally got a ring so I just have a staff and ring on that toon. I'm grinding out a lock to add one more for a last shot at some 119 GF gear... well, until next year.

I saw the traits still worked but haven't tested it any further without the neck. Will not equipping it just stop you from gaining Azerite power to be able to level up the 295 piece into a 300? Or just stop collecting Azerite power for leveling up the neck piece any higher?
 
looks like my 3 119s will not be of any use throughout this expac .. hard to say if they are gonna change item ilvl drops in next year 15th anni, until then my 119s will be mothballed and grats to all those who are lucky enough to get the full set of 343s or 333s

we did testing on cael realm last week b/c of this same discussion, you can select powers, including the final ilvl level up, without it equipped, you can kill rares without it on and gain AP, islands give AP too, and people reported instances and pvp gains AP as well
 
Ok cool. So it still keep leveling up regardless if it's equipped or in your bags?

Lol yeah i knew that quitw awhile back, traits work without HoA on. Otherwise I wouldn't have even put on the 343 neck. I hope u get the warforged weapon for my priest today.

And yes, also the HoA gains power same way whether you wear it or not. Actually like that it does that for those moments like mine where you gain something stronger by chance and don't have to bag to get HoA leveled. Also, stats on neck go well with my disc priest cause versatility is awesome.

Man. All I got on 3x 119's tonight was a ring on my priest but at least I finally got a 343. The RNG Gods are sitting up there, eating their popcorn, and laughing at me right now, lol.
 
I was looking at some of the armory links in the new thread and everytime I open them I see people with heaps of the anniversary gear and a good portion of them 343.

I mean, I saw pinkbeards armory and had to walk away in.

just makes me disappointed I don't have more 119's and more opportunity to get this loot.

I hate i started a week late getting Anniversary gear. My 119 priest only has a few pieces one replaced my neck (321) with a Warforged 343 that will eventually of course surpass it. Got a piece that was a upgrade but it upgraded from a Warforged piece from questing smh instead oh a 286-290ish green armor piece I rather preferred upgraded. Lastly got a ring that replaced yet another 300 piece.

So 3 pieces that were bittersweet upgrades and yesterday was another 3x gold day with no gear smh. So don't feel to beat up about your luck the rng gods have laughed at a few of us in turn. :-/
