Searing Blade

It works the way you imagine that it will searing blade has a pretty high proc and ele force does its thing but its just not as good as safer by a notable margin.
 
The damage proc on that Sword used to insane! I remember it was like in the 200-300 range, before the "Squish" nerf.

Elemental Force will not proc more because of the searing blade proc. But the searing blade proc can proc it, which might mean ele force procs if you are out of range.
 
Yes, thanks for the clarification i did not mean to insinuate that searing blade caused MORE procs, just that searing blade does proc often.

Although I do know that the overall proc rate never changes i believe having more instances to trigger gives it a better opportunity to be front-loaded w procs (similar to a rogue full of energy getting more procs up front in a fight than over a protracted combat) although that is speculation.

I don't think so, but the math is a bit complicated. Theres a variable tracking time_since_last_proc and another one tracking time_since_last_event. I'll hopefully be able to make a post about it soon, as RPPM comes up pretty often.
 
I am all in on duel wielding searing blade eke force fury warrior. Just made a character specifically for this and picked an appropriately clever name (ProcSamson) So the builds goal is 80+ Vers (it'll give just over 20%) stat priority Vera>haste>crit what about str though? Strength is boorish. Str is for meat-heads Procsamson is an elegant man a true gentleman who needs not rely on such an uncouth fighting style as "swing big weapon hard"

We can make this work, or at least have fun mucking around w the concept.

I have a lvl 17, ilvl 25 version of this bad boy on Tichondrius if anyone is interested! This way you don’t lose out on weapon damage while you play to your happiness!
 
Build isn't done yet, got to get crate blues and finish my eng.

So far so mediocre! I will hold my reservations until i finish the build

Alright I still don't have my eng gogs done but I have a good feel for the build now. I can deffinitivly say that full vers stack is viable enough w ele force (but in no way better than sader builds) but searing blades just sent holding up their end of the bargain well. I am certain any of the blue by crate weapons w vers would do better w the build.
Even w 2 weapons they proc only about as often as hidden satyr and contribute about as much dmg. They are not really reliable enough to be good imo.
