EU+US Need priests?

you mean f2p not vet, right? then don't waste your time playing f2p in BGs. In v8.0 BFA 7 out of 10 times you will bump into twinks that can kill the whole team effortlessly, unless you are lucky enough to queue with a team of twinks on your side.

BTW, most f2p healers do great in BGs, but I don't recommend priest/pally at all for f2p. Since currently gear matter in BGs, so you want those classes that you can farm the best gear. For priest/pally you will have a hard time getting the headgear as a f2p. So you will end up undergeared in BGs. You best hope is to farm the Wailing Caverns gear set which is available to leather/mail wearing casters. So your best choice would be rdruid, rshaman or MW monks. What's more the leather/mail headgear is easily available as a quest in Stockade.

Literally none of this is accurate

which one is inaccurate? please be specific. That was my personal experience with f2p. I would be very happy if someone can enlighten me on the better ways to play an f2p character.

youre gonna bump into twinks more frequently than that but theyre not gonna "kill the whole team effortlessly". Playing BGs on a f2p can be frustrating sometimes but so is playing BGs as solo que in any bracket. Queing with friends and members of the community will not only increase your win rate, but your enjoyment.

BTW, most f2p healers do great in BGs, but I don't recommend priest/pally at all for f2p.
F2P healers do great is about the only right thing you said (though it seems to be at odds with your statement that f2ps dont do well in pvp) But not recommending priest and pally? Priest is the strongest healer in the bracket and pally is a bit more difficult to pull off but has a much wider tool kit. They're great classes in this bracket. even as f2p.

Since currently gear matter in BGs, so you want those classes that you can farm the best gear.
gear is pretty normalized across classes. The only exception is the Wailing Caverns set that gives druids, monks and shaman some neat set bonuses.
For priest/pally you will have a hard time getting the headgear as a f2p
Inaccurate. There are easily acquired options for both. A cloth helm can be made with engineering, gotten a quest reward in stonetalon (horde only) or farmed in the fishing tourney. Plate helms are available as boss drops.

Druids are very fun to heal with.
That is if you not a mindless dhl drone and actually heal ppl.

I didn't say the headgear for priest/pally is unobtainable. But it is much harder. Maybe I should clarify more:
0) the 'Lucking Fishing Hat' is of low stat which i won't discuss.
1) the "cloth helm" you mentioned that we can make is the 'flying tiger google' which is obtainable by leveling engineering to 100. but it offers no intellect bonus which to me is not desirable. Furthermore, as an f2p we need to painstakingly mine all the resources which, depends on individual, may or may not be enjoyable. Another big problem with this google is that we cannot drop engineering in order to use it meaning we cannot have the more desirable herbalism/alchemy/enchanting. So this is my 'hard' part.
2) the more desirable Cowl that offers somewhat like +5/+6 int is also available to alliance too (i didn't play horde so don't know how difficult it was for the horde) which is the 'Goldrinn Acolyte's Cowl' rewarded after the quest 'Brood of Seldarria'. But the 'hard' part is that this is a long quest chain that you need to finish >20 quests in order to obtain a just single piece of gear.
3) the plate helms are available in blackfathom deeps/wc bosses, but the problem is the drop rate is <2% so you need to painstakingly run the dungeon > 50 times. Whether you should call it 'hard' depends on your view point.
4) BTW, plate helms are also available as stonelaton mountain quest rewards. But as the case with the Cowl, some long quest chains involved.

But, the leather/mail headgear is the 'rifle command eyepatch' easily available after running the stockade once and finishing a single quest.

Whether you want the upfront pain of priest/pally is up to you while the WC set of gear for rshaman/rdruid/MW altogether offers +19 int and +3 haste with much less pain.

...
Alright a few pointers.

Flying tiger goggles offer versatility, versatility will increase your healing done, same thing as intellect. Intellect doesnt give mana anymore slugger.
Tiger goggles is better than the cowl unless you have the GFd version.
The drop % of items isn't accurate since everyone can't get every drop anymore.
The Stonetalon chain for horde is maybe 20-30 quests, last time I got it I did it in an hour. Painstaking isn't the way I'd put it.

The WC set doesn't offer a fking helmet so they still have to do one of these things anyway... Also paladins can still wear the fang set...

what the actual fuck are you talking about

@Tadaah don't listen to a single thing this man says chances are it'll be wack

priest is top tier f2p healer if not the best healer there is for f2ps. just grab the engineering goggles for a helm. if you need priest help let me know I can hook you up with some accurate knowledge

...Actually now that I am looking at it, maybe I should just use an old 20 priest alt and pump her up before I unsub...hm...
[doublepost=1542466973,1542466659][/doublepost]@ohti lol thanks! wheat/chaff, I get it.
So here is my first dive into your wealth of knowledge: PvP Talents: Relentless or Adaptation? I can see an argument for both but since I am going to be doing strictly bgs.....*sigh* I don't know...Adaptation would cancel out Sheeps and Psychic Screams,etc....Relentless would reduce stuns, saps and frosty stuff.....ugh...6 of one, half dozen of another! lol

dont hesitate to ask me anything dive as deep as you want my friend

anywho, pvp talents

generally everyone goes with the medallion, adaptation isn't rly ideal cos as you already stated you dont get a choice of whats trinkd like shit goes off when you get sapped nty

I would maybe recommend adaptation in situational games like if your premade is going against another premade or a good amount of classes with a hard stun / cc locks (i.e pally, rogue, etc) so long as your team is able to provide a good support while you're sitting in those stuns.

There's been times where i'll trinket a hoj cus i'm in mid fighting only to be put into another hoj then kicked by a rogue and i'm dead cant rly do much cus my medallion was used on the initial hoj, an adaptation could've been more useful there imo so long as I had off heals and / or another healer spec on my team

your safest bet is medallion though, you'll run into the least troubles with it and works in almost every situation unlike adapt
