Whats the longest amount of time youve farmed for a BiS?

Ive lost count of how many times I've solod Wailing Caverns to try and get the Gloves of the Fang for my F2P druid. But its been at least two months of a couple runs a day.

3557 sfk for gloom.
junk boxes since cata but that is never going to end is it.

You had scripts in vanilla though, afaik. That was literally your only macro options back then. Every simple macro today, like [target=mouseover], was some tedious script back then.

Legion event for full Titanforged on my Horde rogue. Grinded the whole time with minimal sleep.

Arena Grand Master when I had no main, this was before server hopping, I would have alarms every 3 hours and get up at 3 AM and 6 AM every day just to have the slight chance of looting the chest. Probably took me 3 months.

Full Heirlooms when I had no main when they were bought with Justice Points / Honor Points. This took me forever as I was Alliance and ONLY played my 19, pops were not super common when I was farming these, and Alliance lost often.

I was after Shadowfangs since I started playing in 2009, and didn't get them until WoD so that took about 5 years.

279 revelosh runs for my damn monkey gloves on my rogue.

Well over 10000 Battered Junk Boxes and still not even a random blue in sight. More then anything i just want my BvB. At this point i could rp as the empty vial vendor Zzzz

I doubt theres many (if any?) bis twinks

5/6 Emissary Cuffs of the Monkey with the 6sta

It was a farm that was best not to keep track of the hours.

No one has absolute bis. Even excluding gear intended for higher levels (satchel, bfa rares etc).

If you are thinking having every available piece of GF'd gear and enchants in order to make a BiS set, then no xd

gnomer dex rings for my 24 hunter 4 years ago, about 3 months.
i actually have a pair of unequipped pilot gloves somewere.

At the moment that would involve having a green lens with an arcanum. Or perhaps a spell power goggles extreme with an arcanum.

Besides, at this level of play, twink gear really does depend on your style.
Personally, I pick stamina an versatility. I have always stacked stamina as healer in PvP. Healer is all I play, even at end game.

Depends on if you are stat stacking my friend. All a matter of choice.

There is no across the board “true BiS” gear in twinking. There might be a BiS for a person or a certain style. But, there is no one single “one size fits all best piece” for each seperate class/spec. What I consider a ‘BiS’ for me another may not, because they play differently. They may be willing to give up a few stats in one category to gain a few(or an effect) in another.
Perfect example is https://www.wowhead.com/item=7375/green-whelp-armored .
Considered by many to be ‘BiS’. I personally don’t use it because of the massive stat loss(I will swap to it if I am constantly being targeted).

It’s a great idea to collect lots of different gear for your characters that way you can switch/swap out different pieces to find out what is best for YOU. Don’t go by some cookie cutter list. Let those lists be starting points. Don’t follow the herd, lead it.

I did the same thing on my level One to get the AGM on the weekends and early in the AM before I would go to work. It took a long long time, months and months. Only time I could snatch it on that level one was when no one was there, otherwise instant death. And believe you me, there were plenty of times I would sneak up there all alone thinking I was going to get only to be ganked by a rogue laying in wait. He would wait just until the box was almost open and BOOM! Da bastard!!
This was before the achievement was implemented. A little less crowded then.

I was mainly thinking about the 'new' bg gear + invasion sets and some older items like screecher belt trailblzer boots thatd be allowed in wargames

got approx 2000 kills on the ashenvale treant trying to get a neck drop for my lvl 10 twink

Took me 3 expansions to get LFH, from TBC to Cata
