Need help with balance druid! :-)

Nice video. Cool effects. A little heavy with the effects but a real good effort :)

I don’t play a Druid, but I do know when they get hold of me in a bg they burn my backside

But in regards to ur gear, given u have the Fang set, u can afford to drop some Int for more Stam / Vers. That’s my thoughts.

Depends on what build you are going for imo. Generally speaking I don't like to sacrifice any intellect if I can help it, but there are cases (such as Deep Fathom Ring) where I'll take a Vers item if it has an overwhelming amount of it. My rule of thumb for all my twinks is pretty much Primary stat > all.

Afaik if you want damage you should prioritize intellect > vers

I think it's something like 1 int = 3 vers

It really depends on what your goal is.

There comes a point where certain stats can match and even overtake your primary stat in terms of pure dps increase.

However when it comes to PVP you have to consider that:
A. you won't be slamming into a target & free casting all the time
B. your survival allows you to continue doing damage
C. length of time on a target

With those conditions above it's something you have to work out for yourself & run some testing.
Stacking intellect will give you great amounts of damage but sacrificing stamina, crit, haste and versatility might make you actually weaker when it comes to PVP.

I'd say that for a moonkin you want your starsurges hitting as hard as possible. For this I'd pick a good balance of Int and Versatility. This will help you with damage reduction too.

This will change from bracket to bracket also as there may be items that are worth taking even if they drop intellect... Electrocutioner Lagnut for example gives huge amounts of Versatility which may make up for the loss in intellect.
Finding out your characters stat weights in regards to starsurge damage will be a good thing to do and may help you in deciding pieces of gear.

How at this point isn't there some mega nerd around here with the exact numbers for the agility/int/strength ratios for versatility as far as damage is concerned... use your nerd power and enlighten us.

Yo!
I've done the math for boomy and in terms of damage, 1 int = 2,2 vers.
The role for us balance druids atm is to dash out as much dmg as possible with the occasional off-heal. Therefore I'd say that there is no scenario where you just wouldent go full intellect / vers. Atm I think there are 2 setups that are very efficient.

Setup 1: Full fang set. Example: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/ravencrest/Travis

Setup 2: 2-set fang, https://www.wowhead.com/item=7065/green-silk-armor / https://www.wowhead.com/item=2231/inferno-robe , https://www.wowhead.com/item=20114/highlanders-leather-boots and https://www.wowhead.com/item=20105/highlanders-lizardhide-girdle Example: https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/ravencrest/Trust

The rest of the gear is the same for both setups

I'd argue that Trust and I are the best geared balance druids (at least that I've seen on eu) and following either of our armories will end in success :)
