Leg Armors and Spellthreads

Currently working on my priest, and I'm having trouble figuring out, not only which Spellthread to use, but how to apply a Spellthread to BoE greens without making them bind to my 120. Not much current info that I've been able to find, but I might just not be looking hard enough, or smart enough. Any help is appreciated.

angerhide, shadowleather, and ironscale leg armor don’t bind BoEs for some reason. None of these give int tho. If you want an int one you gotta enchant a BoA or do an exploit

It's the old trade window glitch @Val Von Hammer, was mostly used for Tazik's way back. The post Thot mentioned uses it for frag belts ("fixed" now by putting a Northrend Eng requirement on frag belt instead of 280 vanilla Eng).

The timing is really tight and it's easy to waste gear using it, more trouble than it's worth for a really minor gain over heirlooms tbh.

It's easy to do if u know how to time it.

Yeah I found some old posts from back in like 2012 that mentioned this technique. I've got two 39 pieces so I'll use a pandaland enchant on one then give it a shot with the other. Sounds like it could be useful to learn the timing.

It's been in the game forever and it still hasn't gotten fixed so I wouldn't worry about it

It being unfixed, doesn't change it being an exploit by definition.

tl;dr risk a suspension for 2 stats
