Weird stats

I am considering using Forest Tracker Epaulets instead of heirloom shoulders because of the +1 agi. But when I equip my heirloom shoulders that have lower agility, I get less damage and DPS on my weapons. The damage on my abilities goes up, but the weapon damage and DPS goes down.

Heirloom shoulders:
6 Agi + 9 Stam + 8 Crit + (3 Agi + 1 Crit) = 9 Agi + 9 Crit
Weapon Damage: 104-116
DPS: 61.46
AP: 196

Forest Tracker Epaulets:
10 agi + 9 Stam = 10 Agi
Weapon Damage: 101-113
DPS: 58.98
AP: 197

Can someone explain why the stats act this way?

No buffs. Did nothing except swapping between the shoulders. Tried several times and tried to reload UI to check for glitch or something. Afaik crit should not do anything to weapon damage or dps? Doesnt makes sense anyways.

Melee weapon damage/dps numbers on the stat sheet are broken, I think maybe because the formulas were recalculated in BfA. I looked into it a bit during prepatch when I noticed it, and there was a comment on the DejaCharacterStats curse page saying that it's a bug in the wow api they use to pull the info.

I tested it on a target dummy - my white attack damage went up with higher agility even though the number on the stat sheet went down. That weapon dps number just isn't reliable.
