Where is the resistance to this? Hes making a guild with like 250 39 alliance twinks and going to turn this bracket into mince meat for 3 weeks before he moves on to something else. At least Pizza and his guild Pizza Hut smashed abn and the r1s that tried to roll the twink cup. He defended 19s honor and here you are with a literal invasion coming to your bracket yet you don't seem to care.

There's gonna be 25k people watching you get crushed. Also lfg 39 horde rdruid
 
I wanna add that this is really not a bad thing. Sure he brings in a lot of ally players so the bracket might be uneven for a few weeks. But this is great for the community, I'm sure alot of those players who join in will stay and twink in several brackets. It's never a bad thing when a twink community grows. Unless of course you only play to roflstomp levelers and don't want any challenge.

Him and McConnell are even talking about XpOff, so that's free publicity. Appreciate that the biggest wow streamer is actually getting more people involved in this.
 
So, a large amount of people that probably have no idea what they are doing lead by a guy who is more or less the Pewdiepie of WoW streams, without even that large of a following?

And more realistically, a large amount of them do not even actually pay for a sub, and the ones that do only briefly actually do 39s until they all collectively get bored and move on? Yet, during this time period, you get faster queues and large group of people who likely are not anywhere near BiS or that great to begin with?
 
what the fuck are what the fuck are you talking about? There has never been a 300 player invasion in any bracket in the history of wow. There should be a call to Arms from all brackets to defend the twink honor. I only came here to check to see if I could lend a hand and nothing is even being done in regards to the Takeover.

I'm sure 5 or 10 of your best players are going to put up a great fight but every single game is going to be 10 or 15 Alliance twinks for 3 weeks and at the end of it they're going to walk away laughing. there needs to be a coordinated Counterattack and you 39 twinks need to step up and manned the charge.

more twinks = more fun
not sure why an influx of players in the bracket is a bad thing
of course there will be a variance of skill between all the new people playing, just like there currently is
games are naturally more competitive when there are more (at least semi-geared) twinks on both sides
lesser chance of a stomp = more fun
i welcome the extra exposure from the popular wow streamers playing
and it will feel good farming them

Yeah, it is. You're talking about a bunch of undergeared, inexperienced ducklings following an influential streamer. It won't play any different than facing the 5p pugmades we usually see. Which, as others pointed out, is a good thing.

I've already seen a ton of newbie questions in the community chat for both alliance and horde, and people are doing a great job answering those questions, grouping up for HH and dungeon runs, and overall welcoming these new players to the bracket. Even if/when Asmongold leaves the bracket, taking advantage of this influx of interest to help people discover the fun of 39s could set the trajectory of this bracket very high for the whole expansion.
 
Look guys, the knee-jerk reactions are not gonna change much long term. Look at this from a 10-10-10 perspective.

10 days from now, the bracket is gonna be insane, possibly more people than have ever played a single bracket will all be converging in an epic struggle.

10 weeks from now, we will be looking back on the time when Asmongold twinked 39's and brought an army with him, and Wargames and epic BG's were actually popping in this bracket.

10 months from now, no one will even remember that this occurred and the bracket will slip back to relative obscurity.

This thread is comical. So far the majority of the twinks that I have came across from assgolds guild are TRASH. The levelers were doing better in some cases.
 
For those of you planning on queing up, join your toon to the 39 xpoff community. Link and password is a sticky in the 39 forum that Sun created.
 
My only concern is that alliance que times will go up a minute or two with the influx of players. Maybe also an influx of just cringey chat in the communities but from what I have seen it has been mostly ppl asking questions which is fine.

Ill be looking to roll a hordie to combat all these guys! Seems like it will be fun. 49s is complete opposite as in tons of allys. Id love to join in killing this guys!! Hateeee arcane and i watched him play it too he didnt even have all his skills out :p
