Coming back to twinking this xpac after not twinking since WOD. which classes are the most OP currently?

and any other major things that have changed in two xpacs feel free to inform me

I love when people play fury warrior cause they are dogshit against fcs in the gulch. Please play fury warrior

Depends on if you are playing organized play or smashing PUGs, in all honesty. Too many people give the wrong advice based on what they are used to playing... just keep that in mind.

Fury/Survival/Arcane/Rogue/Balance/Resto are all just broken good in pugs.. my 5 year old daughter can play that shit. The only classes where you really have to work to do damage are any Warlock/Elemental/Arms/Any Paladin/Fire Mage/Feral/Brewmaster. Anybody not listed is just good but not awesome. But, that all based on you just wanting to be a damage/healing chart all-star.

For organized play, it just depends on what you want to do... some of the best rogues are actually out of stealth like 10% of the entire game time of a BG and just wander around sapping people... fun. But, that play style is just wasted in a random pug, because you would have just won faster killing ungeared nubs instead of sapping them.. but in organized play that shit is all-star and necessary.

As above tho, classes like Fury that stomp in Pugs are just not stellar in organized play because they have no CC at all, you just lumber around doing easily healed damage.

100% depends on what you are doing, if you just want to top chart pubstomp for lulz and zero skill, just pick Dual Wield Survival/Resto/Balance you can easily do 100k plus with that trash.

thanks for the replies. ill probably start with balance as it was my most geared twink back in the day anyway. i remember fury being OP before with double crusader procs. but i kind of miss the old days with brewmasters being so OP and ret pallys were gods as well, not to mention the old prot war shield slam one shots

I play a rouge and consider it to be top 3; outlaw is best spec, but love the versatility of being able to switch to Assasination and still be strong af; also it’s just so fun to play, being stealth obviously, but you can definitely 1v2/1v3 people if you play it right. priest is incredibly strong; never have an issue with fury warriors nor do I see any that ever catch my eye... at least in this bracket.

Fury only really stands out because execute "steals" so many kills. I've done crap damage like 35k before in a bg, but had like 30 actual kills.

Fury is only insane if u speedpot, which 90% of the bracket does so yea :))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))9

fury is insane at 29 maxxed out with weapon swapping. does dps that can kill people in 2 seconds. has interupt and good mobility. i think everyone sleeps on fury because tbh it seems like 99% trash players play it. but that 1%.... god damn.

people got the wrong impression and started rolling vet twink fury warriors tho thinking they'd faceroll. fury is really not that good at 20. also skews peoples perception because a ton of twinks in this bracket are locked @ 20.

You can say that about any 1% tho. Even Arcane Mage can be played at the 29s at the "1% awesome level" and do twice as much damage as any other 99 percenter.

I mean, it's not complicated. I'm not saying fury is only good in the hands of 1% of everyone, I'm saying that fury warrior can be broken levels of good in a ton of people's hands, and it seems like most of those people just don't play fury war. It's the same thing as weapon swapping on survival, which like 99% of people do.

I don't know about the 99% of all people weapon swap statistic there, but sure. Fury still needs support tho, if you don't have a healer and you charge in first you are dead in 1 second, it does not matter if you are BiS super glad, you are dead... but, that kind of puts it into the group of "any class does well when you are healed".

Yeah I mean it's all really situational. It's hard to actually evaluate a class that constantly switches between annoying mosquito and godzilla wrecking new york. But for dps right now, being able to possibly 1v1 a healer, being able to put huge pressure on healers, being able to dominate other dps when you have equal levels of support, being so game changing the enemy team has to devote all their resources to peeling you... it's definitely a top tier class. At 29 i'd say it's like the 4th best class right now behind disc, boomy and rsham. same type of place as rogues, resto druids. Idk, like you said, everything is so dependent on healers...

I don't play with the "cool kids" in organized games, how does Fury fair there? I know its a Pug Faceroll class, but for competitive... I'm sure some people play it, but would they just be a better asset to their team as anything else?
