Cobalt Frag Bombs?

I have been seeing folks using Cobalt Frag bombs however they are Northrend Engineering and requires 350. Does one have to be grandfathered into engineering to use them? I want in on this extraordinary contraption.

It does a significant bit of damage and stuns. Kinda OP. You can do the exploit on any piece of gear that can be traded, so have someone come into a dungeon with you and get a 19 plate belt to drop. You can then trade among party members and then they can do the thing.
 
On a non twink the belt can 1 shot ya, on a twink it's brings you down close to 1/2 health. Ouch!
 
It's really only a huge deal in 10-19 since levelers are missing a bit of gear. Anything beyond that, it would do 1/3rd to half health at most to a leveler in 20-29, with diminishing returns beyond.

If you kept your mouth shut we would of had i55 gears aswell!
 
Crutch bomb is crutch. Additional crutch tier if used on rogue.
Can’t really complain tho as it is an olddd exploit that has been used previously to do even dumber things.
*shrug* “if you can’t beat em..”
 
Is the risk worth the reward? Probably not, if you want to half hp someone in 1 shot buy a saltwater pot.

Or risk it, just don't use it on QQ levelers, be nice.
 
Its not risky at all. Blizzard messed up and made northrend engineering available to twinks at lower levels accidentally, thus making a spike in frag belts. It’ll be hard for them to check every single twinks armory to make sure they have the gfd engineering to see if they have the legit frag belt lol
 
If you use cobalt bombs, there is a 100% chance you pleasure yourself with a showerhead. Just sayin

"talk", but no evidence of a ban unless someone asks blizzard personally to ban them.

Also all the talk comes from people who make statements like yours lol. No offense I'm not trying to make enemies. Just sayin'

The only risk is that of a patch
