Wasn't that lucky. :(

Epic Procs: Cloak, Wrist, Ring 1, Holy 2-Hander, Prot 1-Hander
Rare Procs: Legs
Neck: 310 (16.86)
Item Level: 298.81

Now show us your toons.

P.S.: Fun Fact - 304.41 would be the max. item level with a 310 necklace and 305 procs on all non-azerite slots.

Im leveling my dk through dungeons which are slowly becoming a bore since I wanna quest but I am gonna wait till 119, After I quest through all the zones, I will decide after if I wanna level through alliance(Sorry I main horde and don't care for alliance)

Grats man, 298 is still not bad. Just a few more on the neck and you'll be 299.

Curious- do you have any suggestions on what I should make sure I've done before I transfer? I'm trying to get my hands on every pieces of Azerite gear that I can find and as far as I know, there's only the Dread Aspirant head piece I need. They probably turn into their alliance counterpart when I transfer, but just in case they somehow pull an "ilvl 300 Banisher Jerkin" on me I'll gladly take the +5 item levels, but I'm not holding out too much hope for that.

I've killed every rare spawn I can find (addon RareScanner helped a lot with this). Do these kills carry over? If I miss a few, I won't be too sad about it, the items aren't too great aside from a few 295 azerite pieces. Also gotten every azerite piece from the instances. All quests are done. Not sure what else I could be missing.

Sick effort my dude :) Nice toon. I'm aiming for ~295 on my rogue since I don't want to faction her. I think that's still enough for me to have fun in the bracket regardless. 79 is my 'I am a god amongst men' bracket. Myperfection, can you point me in the direction of any quests that reward 298 on Alliance? Wowhead is not up to the task currently, what with the expansion being so fresh, and neither is Google. Having completed all zones, you're in a unique position to spread the knowledge :)

All quests aka getting the achievement for finishing the 3 zones + clearing your log from all other bfa quests.
The 3 war campaign starting quests too.
All "normal" treasures and Rare NPCs can only be looted once per toon.

They probably turn into their alliance counterpart when I transfer,
A faction change rerolls the azerite traits. (So you can have completeley new ones.)

I wouldn't care too much about 295 azerite anyways if you do random battlegrounds. You can obtain them there too.

There is no such thing ... in a normal way.

The reward system is dynamic. Means if you start a quest line / a quest zone the 1st rewards will be 281 and 286. Later on they become 290. And (this is a guess) the last quest of a zone which gives an item reward is 298.

TBH after doing everything, I would do it in a different way if I would do it a 2nd time. So that I "save" the slots where I need an upgrade the most aka not turning in such quests and then move to a different zone and start questing there.

So that in the end you will sit on 298+ on every slot. (With a little bit of luck.)

Just changed to ally and I'm actually surprised with just HOW MUCH gear has changed simply by doing that. Just a warning to those who faction change. Every secondary I tried to stack is kind of different now, but not too bad.

Edit- also, my shoulders which had the thunderous blast trait has changed into some other crappy thing. RIP.

Maybe it will roll back when you faction change back. Who knows

So, all my quest Azerite gear changed to the alliance quest Azerite counterparts. Does anyone know if you get doubles from the quests doing them as the opposite faction, or will the quests not reward them? This may affect the order I choose to go through the zones.

Wish I knew this before I went over. My shoulders had 2 awesome traits and got garbage ones.

The helm doesn't change. I am guessing you can only do this once.

Should still be worth the AP/rep/new gear pieces and when I go back they will reroll again.

You can double up rewards to get ilvl 300 pieces you didnt get the first time,

From what I can tell,

Stormsong = Voldun
Tiragarde Sound = Zuldazar
Drustvar = Nazmir

Each of those reward the same number of shoulder/chest/helms (so stormsong and voldun =- 1 chest/2shoulder/1helm azerite pieces) so find what quest you got the piece you have from, and see what the equivalent opposite faction quest gives that fits that slot.

I did that when i faction changed and i was able to plan accordingly.

You can get the same quest items twice, i have a 280 and 295 version of the same azerite piece now.

Nice thanks for the info. I know for sure Zuldazar = Tiragarde Sound as those are currently my 280 pieces.

Do you know the cause of these higher ilvl azerite pieces?

I'm pretty sure it's just story progression. I'm doing the alliance quests now and have some 280 pieces from stormsong valley. There's no way it's based on neck as my neck is level 18 and my overall Ilvl is 298.

Seems to be based on the dungeon quest completition from what I'v seen, so once you finish the 2nd quest, they bump up if you abandon the azerite quest turn in (if you had em in your log already) and regrab it.

So, I'm at 300 overall item level with Stormsong and Drustvar done and I still have Tiragarde Sound to do.

I've been very fortunate with epic procs. I had 3 epics on horde side, 4 on alliance. Gloves, Belt, and 305 ring were from horde side. Bracer, Weapon, Pants and 301 ring were from alliance. If I get no other upgrades, I'll be more than happy with what I've gotten.

No ... it has nothing to do with that either. And so on ...
I haven't done a single dungeon quest so far.
