I mistakenly started leveling my rogue past 85, but stopped at 89 and quit before legion came out. Now I'm capped off at 89 and absolutely destroy people in the bracket. Hamps19#1854 if anyone is down.

I believe it does. Although, I do play an elemental shaman so I automatically assume every dupe-proc is from a mastery tick. I'd have to stare at my combat log to confirm, but I dont see why it wouldn't work - the staff proc is set to active.

Jwl#11489 BIS 80s and 85s on both factions. Not too invested in the bracket atm though - focusing on endgame
 
Been playing a lot of 85's recently, i'm loving the bracket so far and have been doing 39's as well.

Most people who have recently played 80-89 do enjoy it. Its pretty balanced compared to other brackets. My only complaint regarding the bracket, would be that Fangs of the Father are inactive.
 
I've got a level 76 paladin I would like to twink (after leveling) but I'm not sure which bracket to twink at? 80, 85, even 90? Anyone know would be best?
 
just logged onto my 85 rogue, my legendary daggers are useless QQ

Also, lerah's ribsmasher (lvl 85) has the same stats as sun lute of the phoenix king now, as well as the same item level.
 
yea i noticed on both my dk and my pally on their 2/2 lutes are now gimped

I have the staff on my mage main (120) it does not proc for him. Tested at both 110 during prepatch and 120 a few days ago.

Also, Shadowmourne > Guth > Weapons with 3 sockets > Sunlute = any rare/epic of the same level range.

80 & 85 share the same bracket. I personally would go 80 for a Paladin. You'd have access to 2 different legendary weapons. 90 was a blast before 8.0 prepatch, but now its extremely dry. Highly encourage 80 Pala.
 
after bfa, i saw all my melee's sun-lutes and all my hunter's BMAH gun drops to a normal ilvl116 .. even my old hard to get ilvl496 trinkets on all my lvl89 becomes useless now .. sad

i feel your hurt, 2 sun lutes, multiple server xfers to get to them, then the 1million+ gold i spent bidding on them. just to watch em get lumped up with the same ribsmasher that i started with.. weird how my lute was ilvl 496 and ribsmasher was ilvl450 but they are now the same ilvl.. super disappointing.

Not to mention they removed the 2/2 upgraded stats on them as well, which is strange

They removed all item upgrades & depleted the upgrade vendors. Which sucks, because I was grinding 4/4s extremely hard hoping they'd be grandfathered...

Oh I see. That sucks, as I had done the same for my level 90 warlock as well and my 85 DK’d alchemist trinkets.
