US What do I upgrade next?

one thing I notice is you should replace the rune with another trinket, hierloom preferably, but not the insignia because you're human

Do you really think I should replace rune? I feel like +4 stam and +10 crit is better than 6 int. The 2% mana on kill is literally useless to me.

Good char, but there are a few things you should upgrade as well:
- Shoulders should be Quickblade (3 crit 5 vers), yours are Aurora and you are missing 1 secondary.
- Get https://www.wowhead.com/item=14165/pagan-britches of the Quickblade ( 3 crit 6 vers), you can put the same enchant on them.
- Get https://www.wowhead.com/item=6629/sporid-cape, 1 vers > 1 haste and its an easy farm.
- Offhand should be Quickblade as well, but I guess you are farming for it already.

- as for shoulders I have so little haste I decided to work a little bit with it I find it more valuable in pvp than crit because other twinks constantly target me

- 1 vers wont even raise my bubbles by 1hp, i'd rather a swaggy cloak.

- easier said than done, to this day I still dont even have my vers bg ring... fuck rng :(

If so, yours are still not good enough, as you can get a 3 haste 5 vers version. Also, 3 haste will help you exactly 0 % - the cast time difference is far less then the avg latency lag (in ms).

It will increase the healing by more than 1 hp, but I got your point.

Its not a trinket, the alchemy flask is a consumable that takes up both elixir slots. It scales to +8 primary stat at 19, havent tested 29's.
 
Oh, sry, i thought all alchemy stones are trinkets :D .

So this makes alchemy the other best profession along with engineering ?

Is this for priest only, or all casters?
< plays Mage, was wondering.

Huge thanks for the reply. So haste is better for an arcane mage? Do you know what it effects specifically over crit?

I should have made my own thread instead of hijacking someone elses lol.
 
Crit is nerfed to 150% damage in pvp instead of 200%. Its good for classes that are specially built around it (fire mage, destro lock) or classes that like the burst damage (hunter/rogue). Haste is pretty good for most casters. For arcane mages, it means you cast the same number of missiles in a shorter time period. You can definitely get some crit, which makes things a bit more bursty.
